.177 guns definitely have rifling, its only if u have one of the cheap ones that also shoots BBs. winchester, remington, crossman, benjamin sheraton, and rws all make .177s with rifling

u's keep mentioning that itll screw up the rifling. now i cant say anything about .22 pellet guns, but .177 bb guns dont have any rifling. they are completely smooth-bore. so if u have a .177 thats not something u have to worry about.
