@eamtangmail There's no black and white proof but a sentence from him, himself is enough. He even stated he was deferred for 12 years to pursue medical study. From what we know, we are only able to be deferred up to first degree which is only 3-4 years. This shows favourtism. Peace out! :D

Tony Tan did not make SPH a government propaganda mouthpiece - it was already so before he took over. Tony's sin is one of omission, i.e., he did not turn SPH into a proper news organization that it should be. This brings us to the point of whether he is likely to play the independent role that the EP should have. The only guide to the future is the past.

Dear Singaporeans, it is time to vote again. Vote for an independent President who is prepared and have the courage to stand up and speak for us when needed, and demand transparency from the PAP govt on the nation's reserves. Do not vote for a PAP stooge like Nathan. Do not vote for a President that is only there to safeguard the PAP's interest, and continue to keep Singaporeans in the dark about how much reserves we have, and account how the PAP govt had been managing the reserve in the past.
