  • Using complimentary numbers makes carry-over operations easier.

    eg - If I have 7+8, since 2 is the complimentary number (the difference between the number and 10) I can subtract 2 from the 7 and carry the 1.

  • hortsmanjeff, I plan to work ASL interpreters this fall. The plan is to have all videos closed captioned with many to include ASL interpreters. It is simply a matter of time and funding.

  • Hey Guys, where do I find the subtraction video? Excellent work...it finally made sense.

  • Arawak5: The entire video that includes subtraction problems with borrowing is not available yet. It will be up at the end of the month. By the way, the instructor and the student are both played by myself.
