i once was in a game and saw a karthus jungle without smite,lovely he went into gank with such a low hp and we just killed him in early game.

except in late game he was very anoying.but how can a karthus jungle without smite and only ignite and flash?

@godstrikez Yeah I just tried it a bit for fun and with 9/12/9 masteries it's fairly quick, almost the speed of Phoenix Udyr until blue buff wears off. If you get a Tear first though and take it easy on e until you get next blue buff you can basically leave it on permanently, and his w shred still works on everything but dragon and baron.

In all honesty, I main a jungle karthus but i do not use smite... Smite allows the enemy team to know you are jungling and in most cases you get ganked so hard!!! If you use smite i would recommend at least having flash to escape over a wall if you get jumped at blue. PS: I use Heal and ignite (I KNOW IT SOUNDS REALLY BAD, BUT IT WORKS SO WELL) If you spec ignite, you get 10 more ability power which makes jungling basically just as fast with smite, but less dangerous. :D

@TheWeeks3 You only get the extra AP when the ability is on cooldown, making your initial clear the same speed. Heal is completely useless when you get to the point that people are no longer heal-baited.

@TheWeeks3 Your team should protect your jungle incase you get invaded, as with any jungler. And with your Wall of Pain, you can easily run and fight back. Oh and have fun getting your buffs/dragon/baron stolen without smite.

Red buff has been there a while now but in the beta it was where the double golems were I think.
