Just a quick question, as of right now my piece is 10 1/2 cm wide, I dont understand how to get it long enough to fold in half, I chained 20 at the beginning like the video said,, Have I done something wrong???

What size hook did you use? Someone said you used a 4mm, but the hook you're using in the video looks bigger than that ...

@tashhuh Hi there, I used a 4mm hook with 8ply/dk/sportweight yarn but if you have a thicker yarn use the hook recomended for your yarn :)

Very nice job with the project and with the explanation. I'm going to make two of these for my daughters. My friend and I want to make crocheted head bands to sell. (with flowers that we have crocheted) I'm trying to find an easy pattern for an adjustable head band. Right now we made some simple headbands with seams for family and so have them to measure. Any ideas?

@jhughesjhughesjh My earwarmer headwarmer video can be used as aheadband , you could make it with 2 button on the back so it has 2 different adjustments

Just another thanks Clare, made this headband and love it. Your instructions are great! Thank goodness because I'm brand new at crochet and I cannot read patterns to save my soul, I've tried, gets frustrating. Anyway I'm learning from you, I just told my aunt I had an Australian tutor! :)

So funny! I just designed and made one of these 2 days ago (by accident - I was designing a hat and noticed the band I made would make a good headband or earwarmers) Made it in some fluffy baby material and it looks like fur.
