"Army of Shadows," "Andrei Rublev" 'Woman in the Dunes," "The Leopard," "Weekend," "Fists in the Pocket," "Marat/Sade," "Medium Cool," "Z," "The Battle of Algiers," "if...," "Playtime," "Harakiri," "Samurai Rebellion," "Chimes at Midnight"
@MADWORLD1427 Would love to see the 80s video... but can't seem to find it on YouTube, no matter what search terms I use. Where is it????
Goldie Hawn is great, but she's famous enough so that her many appearances were fully expected. As for Teri Garr... That woman was (and possibly still is) FUNNY.
Craig's Decade in Film videos are terrific... but the most impressive thing is that he seems to get Teri Garr in all of them! She's even in this one. (There had to be some reason to include "Head"... apart from the fact that the Monkees are pretty cool.) That woman was brightening the screen with her presence for years! I haven't even seen the 80s video yet, but hey, that was her best decade. I'll be playing a game of "Where's Teri".
Magic! The soliloquies are an interesting way to make a statement. I saw a glimpse of Zardoz in there, and I think thats a really engrossing movie. 6 stars!
great job. i am old so i could see more films here. EASY RIDERS, LAWRENCE OF ARABIA, THE OUTFITS, OCEAN'S ELEVEN, BAREFOOT ON THE PARK, THE GREAT ESCAPE, LA DOLCE VITA, CLEOPATRA, THE WILD BUNCH, DR. ZHIVAGO, WHO'S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOLF, JUNGLE BOOK, BARBARELLA, BUTCH CASSIDY, THE PINK PANTHER, JUDGEMENT AT NUREMBERG, MATT HELM, GUESS WHO'S COMING TO DINNER, THE APARTMENT, THE ODD COUPLE, FINIAN'S RAINBOW, HELP. ..
Another splendid work and the years my friend!! Thanks for starting with the masterpiece Psycho. The scene is one of the most famous of all. Great choice of duet from 3:08-3:21 Davis-Crawford from movie What Ever Happened to Baby Jane! Bette Davis is unforgettable in that movie! Certainly it was not easy to make this video. There are so many movies and the characters memorable. I noticed the different music that you entered. Are perfect! 5 (STARS) and added in playlist!
Wow, I need to see some of the movies of this decade. It seems it was a good decade but I only recognized They shoot horses, one that I believe that is Breakfast at Tiffany's and The Birds. Oh, and Psycho. Helter Skelter was perfect for the soundtrack.
did you watch the whole thing?..I am sure you know "The Sound Of Music", "2002: A Space Odyssey", "Bonnie And Clyde", "My Fair Lady", "The Graduate",," Dr. Strangelove". among others they are pretty famous films that even a 15 year old would recognize
Surely there were others. (Sound of Music I didn't see. I left the cinema in the first two minutes). What I wanted to say is: Gosh, how many movies I didn't see. I saw 2001: Space odissey (I think it is the same you call 2002 and The Graduate and many others but it is a decade that is basically unknown by me.
I don't know how youze done it but I know youze done it! That a lot of clips to edit together. And the music. I think you outdid yourself. Since movies started being made Hollywood keep a lot of things off the silver screen. But the 60s pushed those boundaries to the limits. BTW what movie was that with James Garner and Julie Andrews? Thanks, buuuuudee!!
One of your best EVER! This WAS a great decade in film. What a powerful scene you chose from "They Shoot Horses, Don't They?" and of course I Love, "But ya are in that chair Blanche"! "Papillon" also had a great effect on me as a child, and I LOVED "Thoroughly Modern Millie", and so many of these GREATS! Fabulous editing here, Great song choices, And of course, THE BEST of THE BEST from you, Craig, also the BEST!

The film is from Arthur Hiller. The film from Blake Edwards with Julie Andrews and James Garner was Viktor/Viktoria in 1982.
