Cocaine habit mighty bad It's the worst old habit that I ever had Honey take a whiff on me I went to Mr Beaman's in a lope Saw a sign on the window said no more dope Hey, hey, honey take a whiff on me If you don't believe cocaine is good Ask Alma Rose at Minglewood Hey, hey, honey take a whiff on me I love my whiskey, and I love my gin But the way I love my coke is a doggone sin Hey, hey, honey take a whiff on me Since cocaine went out of style You can catch them shooting needles all the while
LOL....love it! 1928/1930...guess they had that monkey on the back too back then...love your style and your playing, I bought an estaban guitar to learn the guitar..and was rather proud of my callouses, when I went to a music store to buy strings the man asked me to follow him, he showed me several esteban guitars which had been brought in by people wanting the store owner to sell them, the owner said they were mass produced in china and the frets were too high...Lesson learned,LOL!
I just love it, you have a great upbeat channel. i would have oved to have you on our show , but you have too many subscribers, one of our talent scouts spotted your channel.david editor, stagecurtains i pesonallty believe your very worhty of my subscription, look forward to see you in my inbox.5
To be honest, it's the tune and overall feeling of the original I like - would have been just as good is he'd used "reading" instead of "cocaine"! Still, it's the old story - songs about sex'n drugs'n rock & roll... :-)
charming.

Great job. It's funny to see how many people love songs about drugs and drinking.
