  • No, somebody commented he was the best LB, also the short cut off jerseys were the thing in the 90's. It was awesome on hot games

  • I don't like how modern players have to wear long shirts. These jerseys looked awesome. Anything to separate college football from the lame NFL rules. Defensive linemen, receivers and linebackers wearing low numbers, ripped up belly jerseys, and an all-around better atmosphere for football.

  • What was the reason for the short Jersey ?

  • @VeteransAgainstKonop To look bad-ass and rough and to intimidate opponents with their formidable physiques. LOL

  • @VeteransAgainstKonop no restriction of movement

  • i try to do short jerseys and the officials get all but hurt and threaten you with a penalty lame!!!!!!!!!

  • Hail Zorro !

  • Wait so, did he ever go to the nfl?

  • @ChicagosBearFan101 He played for duh Bears

  • @linebacker365 duh bears duh bears duh bears

  • @fivenine06 LOL

  • their short/shirts are cool

  • @LongLivetheElf Doubt it, my explanation is a far better one.....

  • Zorro was one of the all time beasts of CFB!

  • God bless you Zorich! Your foundation helps many.

  • Zorich's jersey is bad ass. Awesome ball player

  • Even Joe Pa said he was the best nose tackle his team has ever gone up against. I forget where i heard him say that-but it came right from his mouth....pretty cool coming from a coach like Joe Pa! Zorich's jersey was always too short-lol! Not sure why!

  • whys his jersey so small

  • @LongLivetheElf So as to eliminate Oline men from grabbing and holding...

  • Damm i forgot about stonebreaker

  • Stonebreaker was pretty damn cool too!

  • dude that jersey is sweet! i would do it if i could lol

  • that jersey is so short rofl

  • Zorich was at ND when I was there. AWESOME dude. In every sense of the word.

  • Zorich is easily one of the coolest LBs in the college history but sometimes that jersey is just too short.

  • I disagree. The short jersey was cool.

  • Very cool worn when football was football

  • He was a nose tackle, not a line backer.

  • @ericvid You're confusing the name of the YT page. I know he wasn't a linebacker.

  • tony sacca made nothing of himself!! look up the stats he was a piece of shit. not chris zorich, tony sacca. the PSU QB.

  • chris is a beast

  • Zorro was a BEAST!!!

  • chris is a great man nicest guy you ever want to meet no attitude just a great man

  • im gonna see him 2nite at my restaraunt we do the nd radio show and hes the guest

  • I met Mr. Zorich at last years Michigan State game, in South Bend...... He was very friendly and shook hands and took a picture with me..... great guy and one of my favorite Irish players ever!!!!! He had a big old cigar and was in a great mood!!!! Excellent with the fans!!!!

  • chris is my third cousin on my dad's side my last name is zorich

  • i'm not lying

  • hes my favorite football player

im in eigth grade and i have chris zorich #2 attitude

  • Im not sure if people quite understand the ferocity of Chris Zorich, let alone playing nose tackle! If you have ever played noseguard, then you know where im coming from.

  • Yeah! i know what you mean!!

  • Zorich embodied everything great about college football in a great era...class act and leader.

  • After Notre Dame's heartbreaking 10-9 loss, Chris flew home to Chicago to find his diabetic mother dead literally of a broken heart. Chris' mom, his best friend, the woman he called twice a day all through college, the one person he truly lived for, was dead. And in some ways Chris has never been the same.

  • 6'1'' 266? damn that boy big

  • not anymore, ND lineup is bigger, faster, stronger now.

  • he still ways 90 pounds more than me

  • No sir.....Zorich is meaner and tougher than anyone..... but at the same time a kind gentleman off the field..... He played in the NFL with the Bears and Redskins..... Great intensity on the grid iron....

  • these arent even really highlights

  • duh

  • What's the reason for the cut off jersey ?

I think "The Boz" used to play like this, at Oklahoma.

I would think that a t-shirt or muscle shirt under the jersey, would help guard against any serious skin abrasions or turf burns.

Why would someone want to play like this ?

  • It makes it harder for tacklers to get a hold of you. Zorich was one of the toughest players in college FB.

  • When Chris Zorich came home following an Orange Bowl victory, he found his mom dead (in her home).

Must da been a sad way to come home, following a national championship.

  • I didn't know about that. That is really sad.

  • Man, was he great!

  • as a chicago bears and notre dame fan i loved watching zorich play

  • LB365 - Been missing your awesome clips...

    Thank you.

  • which pro team does he play for in the NFL or ?

  • He played for duh Bears as a pro.

  • yeah...thanks.
