Most people only like COD for some reason. Its just killing the other guys. There is no teamwork or feeling of accomplishment when you win. Lots of people only go "damn this game looks gay" and don't even rent the game or anything. Then they go and play COD for 5 hrs and are bored after that.

Monster Hunters one of the best games ever. None of my friends even gave this game a chance. I dont get how first person shooters have gotten so popular. they're all the same (save for a few like left 4 dead). Its like, come on, stop playing games based on popularity. Universal truth isnt measured in mass appeal. I skipped over 40 days of high school in one year for monster hunter (on the ps2). Its a miracle i still graduated.

wow is quest-based.. i have not spent a single level purely grinding.. monster hunter you hunt & get materials for armor, etc. and once you get that armor you want it's a great feeling, & the game just gets better & better as your character evolves

good review. monster hunter is one of my favorite games ever, what i didn't really like though, was that the controls on the psp weren't all that great, leading to my frequent rages at being comboed by a g rank tigrex and dying in like 3 hits. also, obviously, online capability should've been better, after all, everyone wants to play with other people.
