@c4r50n1 ' Don't have one :-) But I would have read something else if I had a nice mic and wasn't doing it for a web feed - low quality, low bandwidth. With a nice mic, I'd want to read something magnificent, like some Bob Marley lyrics. And I'm pretty sure I could get the phrasing right too ;-)
@WeRbots Just messing with ya lol. I went to school for radio, does take a lot of practice to read something like that, to get breathing right, timing right, etc. Cant remember how many times it would take me to be able to make something perfect for a 30 second spot with out messing up or getting out of breath.
@buuyon Only a pro would really understand just how tough. I guess I should transcribe it so ppl can read along, try to get the breath and phrasing just right. Yes, it's not perfect, but I'm right-proud of the reading job. I appreciate your noticing...
This is the perfect copy for training and warmup practice. I get it. If you can kill this in one take with the right inflection and emphasis...it's priceless. It's the 4th or 5th time I've listened to this read. It shows why you are where you are. Thanks WeRbots for posting it. Took a minute for me to figure it out.
@radiojim1023 Thank you. I can see that. It felt "reeedy" to do it. I sure could have missed the breathing too. Thanks for your positive feedback. Much appreciated...
I kinda agree, You know I HATE hearing it... That's the point anyway, the copy is a tongue twisting, biting mess... But I got through it in one cut, with proper delays for the little flash events to happen... It would have been easy to put up something perfect, you know, edited, good copy, stuff like that. But that wouldn't have showcased any talent.. You wanna get freaked, listen to the vintage airchecks!
Why don't you use a condensor mic?

@buuyon I decided, it's a technicality, an intentional slough to make it sound less rigid and formal. Nice catch...
