Not only does Ovy play horrible d, he isnt half the player Crosby is in any other category besides shooting. When you average 8-9 shots a game, you'd think it would be hard to not score that much. Look at Louie Eriksson, he had less half the shots and still managed almost as many goals. Ovechkin just floats around in the offensive zone and shoots at every opportunity, crosby is a two way team guy with great skill at both ends of the ice.

Franzens overrated? He's underrated. He had 34 goals last season, and is GODLY in the Playoffs(Breaking tons of scoring records).
Patrick Kane is overrated in my opinion. 25 goals, and 70 points? He was 1st overall. Let's see the other 1st picks, and their scoring. Kovalchuk, Crosby, Ovechkin and Nash? They all are godly compared Patrick Candy Kane to me.

his draft was weak, he was the best to offer.
franzen plays on a good strong playoff team (outside of the goaltending), kane is overrated, toews is underrated, so is seabrook.
crosby is by far overrated, he was supposed to be the nhl's star, hes not the best player in the league, not even 3rd. hes just over publisized.
i actually gained respect for kane after that, hes not falling into the star status of doing everything right, thats good to see, a star who isnt afraid to be human.

when crosby fights/hits he does it from behind more often than not and backstrom, semin, green, laich, knuble? all under the caps cap and are all great players.
varlamov has the potential to be as good or better then fleury, and theodore is waaaay better than brent johnson.

theodore is a great regular season goalie, something fleury isnt, and varlamov played well for his FIRST playoff's ever. laich has always been a promising young prospect and is coming into his own now. varlamov was better in his first playoffs than fleury was so yeah.

Not only does Ovy play horrible d, he isnt half the player Crosby is in any other category besides shooting. When you average 8-9 shots a game, you'd think it would be hard to not score that much. Look at Louie Eriksson, he had less half the shots and still managed almost as many goals. Ovechkin just floats around in the offensive zone and shoots at every opportunity, crosby is a two way team guy with great skill at both ends of the ice.
