This song was actually about Desegregation and bussing in the early 70's. Glad this country has moved forward since those days of overturned busses in Boston. I remember well the senselessness of it all. Great song though.....
Very nice job. Just saw movie last night on TMC and thought how this should be required viewing for all high school adolescents. Especially the scene of her father talking to her in her high school years about envying the "Main Liners" of Philadelphia society. Ginger sure looked good made up as a teenager in that scene as a 28 yo woman! Haha shades of Lolita mixed with M. Monroe in Seven Year itch with her standing above the floor heat vent.
hey this is great. The music really suits (unlike most fan vids I've seen on here). I hope I'm not spoiling it for others here, but I've always found the ending to be bitter-sweet rather than 'happy' or otherwise positive. I wonder whether Kitty could ever really get over Wynn, or if he'd always be the love of her life. Whatdya reckon?
One might not forget your first love, but Kitty and Win wouldn't have been happy. Passion fizzles but true love and caring lasts forever. Kitty found that with the Mark.
And DESERVED it. I always wondered how anyone could've beaten out Katharine Hepburn for her role in The Philadelphia Story, but then I saw Kitty Foyle and understood...it really is a great movie.

Thanks for the fine tribute to an excellent actress in her well deserved role as Kitty Foyle. Ginger was talented in every avenue of motion pictures.

I look to Kitty Foyle for fashion advice. No joke, 2 of my winter/fall coats look like her coats.
