What I've never heard anyone articulate is the answer to the question: What's the insanity test for swales? How many per vertical foot, how many per horizontal foot? At what point is more water a bad idea? We get A LOT of rain up here in the North West of north america, if i put in too many swales the ground will under go "slumping".

@PsychoticusRex you're supposed to make a rain garden for your swales and use a dam in the end of it so that you can use it for farming.
