LOL you clearly have it on "minimum realism". You may have taken another aircraft up to that altitude, which from the visible curvature of the Earth, I'd guess is around 70 000 feet, but propeller-driven (and jet-powered) aircraft require a much higher atmospheric pressure for it to remain stable without plunging to Earth, and at an altitude that high, the atmospheric pressure is -way- too low. Sorry bud, but using a fictional spacecraft is much more 'realistic' than this.

I think this just demonstrates the abilities of hight altitude flying on flight sims. I think its pretty cool....if you dont use flight sims, chances are you will never understand it.

In the cockpit the is a row of buttons with the gps and all that there is also map one. press that it then takes you to the same kind of map as a flight planner one. On the left hand side enter in an altitude and press ok. you will then start at that altitude. you can also move the aircraft too. i hope this helped

slew is a thing when you press a hotkey in game, will move you (basically) anywhere extremely quick, and faster than moving there with the airplane. If I'm wrong or left out some information, then please reply back.

Lol, I edited the aircraft cfg file for my 747-400, gave it about 10X more thrust and managed to get it to about 100,000 feet, but flight simulator couldn handle it and I got stack and coulnt control it, plus the engines went to full power even though I turned them off AND there is no air?
