france is nuts and I'm French american. Catholicism
and Joan of Arc made France and French culture. They've never been France since they killed their king and were taken over by the Masons and the ROTHSCHILDS. France is burned toast and a sin.

About what are you speaking ? Joan of Arc ?? Joan of Arc is nothing in french culture .. The true french culture is "Les lumières", not that religious old symbol. Joan of Arc is just a religious symbol for the biggest part of French people, we only learn that JOA has existed when we begin to go to school... then, we learn important things.

and it's so easy to patronize a bunch of people with a language of even lower status, and excuse me, not in spain but in mexico, great country... reminds me of Patrick Buchanan State of Emergency
Yaa great country! What other country is so great that more than 10% of it's native population immigrate to the USA? Maybe we should all adopt ebonics or h@xx0®.
English has both vocabularies derived from latin/greek roots and also germanic elements, which gives people more varieties. Normans were on the island and blessed people there with everything prestigious in french language, and only to be blessed back today with a little admiration back by english speakers...
Its just odd, France prides itself on its culture and language. Yet French has fallen out of favor even in diplomacy. English is of course the language of business, and its becoming the language of diplomacy as well. While france is being overrun and will perhaps be speaking Arabic sometime this century.
La langue française n'est point fixée et ne se fixera point.

You've got a point there. Culture and language seem to build on sort of a spinning wheel progression with the "here and now" as a fulcrum point.

@phlood69 You're ill-informed. France is not overrun and will never speak Arabic.

something ironic about a french dude making a speech about french culture at a latin conference translated into english by a mexican!
phlood69 5 years ago
Why is that so? Would you care to be more specific?
