I'm not pro FCC, but what many of you do not seem to realize is that the same FCC is currently fighting to protect net-neutrality....sometimes its good to get information than just one show, all be it a good one, but still do what you are all saying and change the channel and inform yourselves even more than hearing one side of the story and negative points about a specific subject....

I remember one just passed a bill with net-neutrality in the title that did the exact opposite though, and that constantly ignores the petitions of millions... If you want a real bill that protects net-neutrality check out Sentor Cantwell & Franken's bill "Internet Freedom, Broadband Promotion, and Consumer Protection Act of 2011".

As a moderately conservative libertarian, I would say that if something on TV offends you, CHANGE THE FLIPPING CHANNEL!!! If enough people decided to not give a show their audience, instead of being sheep and control content, the show will be canceled anyway, because then it wouldn't bring in the viewship needed to continue bringing in advertizement revenue. Simple economics says that people have the right to own opinions, and people need to get off their haunches and think for themselves.

I think that The FDA should allow you to take anything you want you just have to sign papers saying that you are aware of the potential side effects of the drugs and you are willing to take them regardless. This would save people from the effects of bad drugs, but will allow people to take experimental drugs.

@dukee155 Well, the problem with experimental drugs is, we don't know what all their effects are, especially the bad effects. That's why most pharmaceutical companies pay people to test run their drugs to test for side effects while still getting the treatment they need, and if the consequences don't justify the cure, they go back to the drawing board. I used to date a chemist, so i know about this stuff to an extent.

Well I can't speak for other agencies. But without the FDA we would be subjected to a storm of drugs that haven't been tested for possibly dangerous side effects. There are problems with the FDA but we are far better off with it than without.

I believe that if you have a boy or a girl, then adopt one. I think woman should be limited one child birth, and then adopt if she wants more.
