I think you have this backwards. Our Constitution does NOT grant such a right to anyone. Even if it did, the authority of a man-made document, as wonderful as our Constitution is, cannot grant a 'right' that God does not grant. He clearly says in His word that even a sexual relationship with the same gender, let alone the attempt to unite in marriage, is an abomination to Him. That means it makes Him sick! Neither does human 'reason and logic' supercede the word of God.

Similar religious arguments were used to ban interracial marriages in the past.

I think you have this backwards. Our Constitution does NOT grant such a right to anyone. Even if it did, the authority of a man-made document, as wonderful as our Constitution is, cannot grant a 'right' that God does not grant. He clearly says in His word that even a sexual relationship with the same gender, let alone the attempt to unite in marriage, is an abomination to Him. That means it makes Him sick! You have absolutely no credibility to be deciding about 'my' Christianity. The faith I've spoken of is the faith once delivered to the saints. As I said, God's word, the Bible, is forever settled in heaven. And that being true, it certainly is settled on earth. You don't know the truth about Jesus Christ, because you deny it. He is wholly God, and wholly man. It's called the hypostatic union, in theological terms. It happened ONCE in all time, when Jesus was born.

You should love President Bush. Islam teaches to love people, right? I know my Savior, Jesus Christ, God the Son, taught this. I know enough about the koran to know it doesn't always teach love. Where in the koran does it say "Kill the one that is doing it and also kill the one that it is being done to." It directly refers to homosexuals. If you kill them, and they are not saved by faith in Christ, they will burn forever in the lake of fire. That's not love.

Please give the details. Oh, and you'll be glad to know that I judge myself all the time. I search my heart, and ask God to do the same. Sin is best dealt with when it's exposed, like a festering sliver. Then you can get it out, and it will heal. Try it, it works great! You'll feel better.

That's like saying you can't talk about God one minute, and a tv show another. The gospel and politics share common areas, but they don't HAVE to be tied together. Our Constitution doesn't give any rights to marry people of the same sex. It can't, because there IS no such thing. 'Homosexual marriage' is a misnomer. It's sodomy, or lesbianism, but it's not marriage. The outcry today for 'rights' that God does not give can not be overruled by men or women, just because they want their way. Freedom is NOT license to do as we want; it is liberty to do what is RIGHT. And only One determines what is right and wrong--the God of the Bible.
