This is a gentleman of Harvard. I wish I had some wry comment to add, but I really can only keep repeating the fact in my head... This man went to Princeton and Harvard. Yes, this man, on par with Kent Hovend, was accepted by the best learning centers the United States has to offer. Wow. Just wow.

My favorite thing to do on a weekend is smoke a bowl, read conservapedia, and realize that these people still live believing stone age, sand myths about a sky-daddy who answers all our questions.
People are flocking to Conservapedia because they've heard it's a complete joke and want to check it out for themselves, not because they've heard it's a good thing.
This lying, pious ass is the strongest reason I've ever seen to ban homeschooling. And if he has a group of kids that big, it's not homeschooling. He's teaching as an unaccredited teacher. Aren't there laws against that?
Ban strongly religious homeschooling perhaps. I was homeschooled without any religious focus, and I turned out fine. The ironic thing about these people is that they tout themselves as against the "bias" in Wikipedia. (Which the general public contributes.) Then turn their website into a completely far-right, highly religious joke. This isn't a flaw of homeschooling, it's a flaw of ignorant people who would prefer to stay in the dark.
So.. it's only unbiased if you can make up the facts as you go and use the Bible to justify your bigoted outlook on anyone not a part of your religion and idealized version of culture? Gotcha. Wikipedia isn't usually allowed as an online source for papers for a reason, but at least it doesn't pretend to be something it's not.
Let's see... Conservapedia is full of bias, expeccially at their articles about Socialism, Liberalism, evolution, counterexamples to an old earth, Atheïsm and obesitas, Atheïsm and mass-murder (I challenge you to find Theism and mass-murder), Conservative Bible project, Evidence for Christianity, Crusades, Atheïsm and the satanic deception, Atheïsm and debate, and Adolf Hitler (for one thing: try to find his religion there). But this is probably 'Atheist cyberbullying'... look that one up.
Conservapedia has to be the most senile, biased, illogical, false pile of shit and can only be taken seriously by a conservative ignoramus. Did what I say sound redundant? Maybe I should have left out "ignoramus."
Wikipedia has become biased. Well, it can be unreliable. But are you telling me a site called CONSERVAPEDIA isn't biased towards conservatism? Or is that okay?

conservapedia is too US centric, no encyclopedia that aims to inform people around the world should make the US flag its logo. I don't think that there exists anything which isn't biased.
You only express something according to your own point of view.
But at least Wikipedia is an open site, reasonably objective, with a little subjectivity here and there (and as much from the right as from the left).
The problem with conservapedia is that it is exclusively right wing subjective.
Just look how poor the articles about science are.
wikipedia isn't a valid source for research. unlike conservapedia though at least it has facts. You know, facts? Those fiddly things that make your opinion worth a damn?

OMFG! They say wikki is biased against conservative christians and cretionism. What they meant to say was that it represents reality which is of no use for creationists.
They need to stop their silly argument against gay marriage. Gay marriage could potentially be a massive economic solution. 15 million gay couples spending $1000 on their weddings will pump $15 BILLION into the economy. Not to mention what they'll spend on divorces and raising children.
0:52 what he doesn't know is that most of those page views are from people going over for a good old laugh. I go there every time I'm bored to see what they've gotten wrong that week the most.
Seriously? Photos of Hitler and Stalin are splashed all over their evolution article. Verrry subtle. I thought this was a joke until what's-his-name appeared on the Colbert Report.
this scares me so much. i hope people don't start manipulating facts to suit there wants like this. i can't believe there are people who believe this.
By the way...wikipedia is great for history..I support only facts...not opinionated bull shit like what your site teaches...btw thanks for the Lulz I get from reading your site. And no one is flocking. Check out Richard Lenski's work for the evolution Oright he won't give it to you because you didn't read it all you did was whine about the underlying data you mean the bacteria themselves...You'd probally tamper with it or opps it slipped and you are hardly a expert in biology kthxbai
So about the FBI incident, do the FBI still block your calls. Way to waste the tax payers money on that one Andy. By the way GREAT JOB FIGHTING SO CALLED "BIAS" WITH ULTRA-BIAS. In the words of Stephen Colbert, you my friend are great at truthiness
You gotta love all those lies Andy and his brainwashed band of children were spouting. Yes, Conservapedia DOES give the other side- But they apparently forgot to give the first one, too. Also, generally, people aren't going to Conservapedia because it's better than Wikipedia, but to laugh at their stupidity and/or vandalize. Together, we can help fight the biased, ignorant intolerance of Conservapedia. Liberapedia ftw
I wonder what that guy has to hide, all the crazies like him do. Or maybe his crazy ass mom Phyllis is to blame. What did his dad shove up his ass? The truth is out there.
This makes me want to cry. Those are young people who have been totally brainwashed. It's absolutely sickening.
Christianity's influence on science? Are you kidding me? How about how you constantly put down the fact of evolution because it doesn't jive with your "I am the descendant of people made from dirt and magic" theory? Or how about Galileo, who was IMPRISONED by the church for DARING to suggest a heliocentric solar system?
oh yes Wikipedia has a supposed "Liberal-bias" so lets combat it with a complete Conservative-bias with such mind boggling articles I'm starting to think it's just one big joke.
Fans of Conservapedia: choose just about any topic, including any religious topics (including hundreds having to do with Christianity) and look at the articles in both Conservapedia and Wikipedia and decide for yourself which is better balanced and of higher quality. There really is no choice.
Hey, c'mon, be fair to the guy......just as there's a wiki for ultra-liberals, there also has to be a wiki for conservatives. And I have to hand it to Conservapedia, They actually protect their own website from stupid freelance editing, unlike other wikis.
No, Wikipedia was unsuitable for learning YOUR version of world history. This guy is the typical extremist, exploitable easily impressionable young people to do his bidding.
"It welcomes all, just the way Americans do"?! Oh, America welcomes all, does it? Just like you "welcome all" homosexuals, hm?
Is this shit serious? I can hardly believe what I'm hearing here. The level of hypocrisy is frankly sickening; they talk about wikipedia being biased one moment, and says that there are people who are "obsessed" with promoting Evolution the next. You might say they promote with...let's say..."religious fervor", hmm?
I think Andy seems to have some strange definition of "fair and unbiased" that I'm unfamiliar with. As far as I'm concerned, treating something fairly means treating it with personal detachment. As far as I can see, according to Andy, if you aren't rapidly pro-something and quoting directly from the bible, you must be biased against it.
Good God, look how delusional these nutjobs are. I got this from their front page, and was apparently just added recently:"The social media tracking website Surchur reveals that fifteen out of twenty of the newest YouTube videos mention Conservapedia in a positive light." Fifteen out of twenty You tube videos mention them in a positive light? Do they seriously thing that that 15 out of every 20 You Tube videos have ANYTHING TO EVEN DO WITH THEM?
Of all the three hundred comments on this video, I think this is probably the one that sums it up in the simplest and most accurate way possible. Those who spend their lives indoctrinating others are nothing but controlling, immoral and egotistical c... well, it's already been said, and I value my account.
Still, ballsy call on your part and certainly a valid point.
remember, Andy's most awesome belief is that men are inherently inferior to men. He gives his students exams divided by gender, because girls are not a smart as boys. Check out Conservapedia, a shining example of radical thought.
everytime i need a good laugh i go to conservapedia to read what bullshit they have to say about various things i never knew could be controversial
kudos for their article on japan...only found one biased statement, the rest seemed pretty centrist (who the hell would want to trash modern japan anyways haha)
Funny how when andy talks about the health alleged aspects of homosexuality and about the alleged biblicial quotes against homosexuality he seems to forget to mention that his own brother is homosexual. And even mentioning his brothers name on conservapedia will get you an instant ban from there.
God i feel sorry for those brainwashed kids. By the way, NEWTON DIDN'T BELIEVE THAT JESUS WAS GOD! Look it up in a reality-based encyclopedia. But after all, reality does have a liberal bias.
So am I to understand that Newton was able to invent physics and calculus because he was a Christian and not just because he was the smartest motherfucker of all time?
it looks like there are a some people there who are not trolls but are trying to influence the site to make the articles less insane. they aren't really managing because conservapedia's power structure makes wikipedia look like an open democracy.
You seriously have no right to call anybody out for being bias. There is a negligible amount of bias on Wikipedia, if none at all. I visit Conservapedia because I think its funny how stupid some people are. I am just amazed how you can call it a "trustworthy encyclopedia".
I'm sure the 80 million hits are an indication of how many people visit to see how incorrect these people are. One biased thing I've noticed was that they refer to Mr. Spock as a "half-breed", which is rude and properly is used for Native Americans.
And they do mention Christianity on the Renaissance and Isaac Newton. Funny, they called Wikipedia biased but Conservapedia is even more biased.
Just look at those children, it is very tragic that because of good ol Andrew these children will grow up to be free thinking people, they won't be capable of doing any critical thinking and making decisions by themselves.
I feel so sorry for these kids.

This guy is so self-deluded, I don't know if it's more funny or sad.
CP is not a respected site and may of the page views are people looking for entertainment. It's the most unintentionally funny site on the web.

They need to stop their silly argument against gay marriage. Gay marriage could potentially be a massive economic solution. 15 million gay couples spending $1000 on their weddings will pump $15 BILLION into the economy. Not to mention what they'll spend on divorces and raising children.

Better than that: They need to stop existing.

Seriously? Photos of Hitler and Stalin are splashed all over their evolution article. Verrry subtle. I thought this was a joke until what's-his-name appeared on the Colbert Report.

DragonSlayerDime 2 years ago 5
You gotta love all those lies Andy and his brainwashed band of children were spouting. Yes, Conservapedia DOES give the other side- But they apparently forgot to give the first one, too. Also, generally, people aren't going to Conservapedia because it's better than Wikipedia, but to laugh at their stupidity and/or vandalize. Together, we can help fight the biased, ignorant intolerance of Conservapedia. Liberapedia ftw

Conservapedia is so heavily biased it makes my head spin.
ermine14 2 years ago 6
A liberal (also leftist) is someone who rejects logical and biblical standards, often for self-centered reasons.
That was taken from Conservapedia itself, seriousely it's extremely flawed. To the point it seems they want to start a war
jiltedkiller 2 years ago 2
I was under the impression that Conservapedia had become a sort of joke. Like, people will post outrageous things on it in a sort of mocking way.

Your website is garbage.
nothingisfree 2 years ago 5
oh yes Wikipedia has a supposed "Liberal-bias" so lets combat it with a complete Conservative-bias with such mind boggling articles I'm starting to think it's just one big joke.
Udany147 2 years ago 3
HolyknightVader,
The whole point of a Wiki is that it can be edited.
keyboardplaya 2 years ago 3
Conservapedia's definition of bias is saying anything negative or critical of Christianity or the U.S. government.
Conservapedia's definition of accuracy is being biased against everything else in the world.
It's also interesting that Schlafly needed children to help with his project, and couldn't get any approval from actual experts.
Conservapedia isn't "fair." It's just unfair in a different direction.
keyboardplaya 2 years ago 3
Fans of Conservapedia: choose just about any topic, including any religious topics (including hundreds having to do with Christianity) and look at the articles in both Conservapedia and Wikipedia and decide for yourself which is better balanced and of higher quality. There really is no choice.

Hey, c'mon, be fair to the guy......just as there's a wiki for ultra-liberals, there also has to be a wiki for conservatives. And I have to hand it to Conservapedia, They actually protect their own website from stupid freelance editing, unlike other wikis.

And that guy's voice is SO annoying.

@tmcfulton.

Really? Conservapedia calling wikipedia bias? Everyone, let's try and find a conservapedia article that doesn't mention Jesus/Christianity/God.
DieChavScum 2 years ago 4
remember, Andy's most awesome belief is that men are inherently inferior to men. He gives his students exams divided by gender, because girls are not a smart as boys. Check out Conservapedia, a shining example of radical thought.

Funny how when andy talks about the health alleged aspects of homosexuality and about the alleged biblicial quotes against homosexuality he seems to forget to mention that his own brother is homosexual. And even mentioning his brothers name on conservapedia will get you an instant ban from there.

You seriously have no right to call anybody out for being bias. There is a negligible amount of bias on Wikipedia, if none at all. I visit Conservapedia because I think its funny how stupid some people are. I am just amazed how you can call it a "trustworthy encyclopedia".
ericm6 2 years ago 4
I'm sure the 80 million hits are an indication of how many people visit to see how incorrect these people are. One biased thing I've noticed was that they refer to Mr. Spock as a "half-breed", which is rude and properly is used for Native Americans.
And they do mention Christianity on the Renaissance and Isaac Newton. Funny, they called Wikipedia biased but Conservapedia is even more biased.
JustPhilNY 2 years ago 2
The reason why their edit was delete... was because it is bias...
Tommy12435 2 years ago
Just look at those children, it is very tragic that because of good ol Andrew these children will grow up to be free thinking people, they won't be capable of doing any critical thinking and making decisions by themselves.
