  • I feel so sorry for these kids.

  • Rationalwiki for the win

  • This is a gentleman of Harvard. I wish I had some wry comment to add, but I really can only keep repeating the fact in my head... This man went to Princeton and Harvard. Yes, this man, on par with Kent Hovend, was accepted by the best learning centers the United States has to offer. Wow. Just wow.

  • If you pause 3 seconds in you can see that one of those kids is wearing a Che Guevara t-shirt, oh the irony...

  • For anyone wanting a good laugh followed by a disappointed realisation in exactly why Conservapedia is so bereft of integrity, read their article on Keynes.

  • The remaining sane editors are being driven away by Schlafly's incompetence as a history teacher and cowardice as an administrator, and the bullying tactics of his sysops. Most of them can now be found at A Storehouse of Knowledge or Ameriwiki, both of which detest Schlafly and his clique.

  • this is just too funny

  • Aww, did Wikipedia not conform to your confirmation bias. No wonder you think it's narrow, reality just doesn't stroke with your worldview.

  • Christians would know all about starting lynch mobs

  • They are flooding to the only source of "information" that will give them what they want to hear.

  • My favorite thing to do on a weekend is smoke a bowl, read conservapedia, and realize that these people still live believing stone age, sand myths about a sky-daddy who answers all our questions.

  • People are flocking to Conservapedia because they've heard it's a complete joke and want to check it out for themselves, not because they've heard it's a good thing.

This lying, pious ass is the strongest reason I've ever seen to ban homeschooling. And if he has a group of kids that big, it's not homeschooling. He's teaching as an unaccredited teacher. Aren't there laws against that?

  • hahahahahahaha! this is so funny i cant stop laughing !

  • Went to the website, and i still can't tell if it's fake or not. I find it hard to believe that people with so many resources can still be so stupid.

  • so who was this lenski bloke that proved creationism or something?

  • I really want to know whether this is a troll or not lol

  • I'm loving this music

  • The Dunning-Kruger is strong with these ones.

  • Poor guy, I wonder if he realizes how many people go their to mock him....

  • So.. it's only unbiased if you can make up the facts as you go and use the Bible to justify your bigoted outlook on anyone not a part of your religion and idealized version of culture? Gotcha. Wikipedia isn't usually allowed as an online source for papers for a reason, but at least it doesn't pretend to be something it's not.

  • The name itself shows bias

  • "Conservapedia is the most reliable and accurate resource for unbiased perspective on all topics covered."

    I smell a contradiction.

  • Let's see... Conservapedia is full of bias, expeccially at their articles about Socialism, Liberalism, evolution, counterexamples to an old earth, Atheïsm and obesitas, Atheïsm and mass-murder (I challenge you to find Theism and mass-murder), Conservative Bible project, Evidence for Christianity, Crusades, Atheïsm and the satanic deception, Atheïsm and debate, and Adolf Hitler (for one thing: try to find his religion there). But this is probably 'Atheist cyberbullying'... look that one up.

  • They don't understand their hypocrisy. Sad.

  • Conservapedia has to be the most senile, biased, illogical, false pile of shit and can only be taken seriously by a conservative ignoramus. Did what I say sound redundant? Maybe I should have left out "ignoramus."

  • Hate to tell you this, Mr. Schlafly, but most people don't go to Conservapedia to get information or an unbiased website. They go to laugh at you.

  • Ratings disabled.

Andy Shafly is a kook. A side-show freak.

  • Cultapedia

  • Who's the kid in the Che Guevera shirt? Does Mr. Schlafly support that?

  • Wikipedia has become biased. Well, it can be unreliable. But are you telling me a site called CONSERVAPEDIA isn't biased towards conservatism? Or is that okay?

  • Very well said Mr. Schlafly

  • Conservapedia is a great website and all I have to say to these idiots making fun of it is this: hi haters! -DMorris

  • So kids, now that you're in homeschool, what is bias? "Not supporting our political beliefs!"

Good, now what is reality? "Liberal bullshit!"

Good, now should we listen to Jesus Christ and follow his teachings? "No, but we'll say we will purely for political purposes!"

And lastly, does anyone without mental retardation take conservapedia seriously? "My helmet says yes!"

Good children, now let's go and call everyone trolls, communists, and nazis and fuck with the FBI! "Yayyy!!!" Legit convo.

  • In this video, they said that Conservapedia users were mostly people who couldn't find good info on Wikipedia. Well, I am a regular Wikipedia user, and regularly use Conservapedia as well to get a different point of view on a controversial topic, such as the cartoon series South Park.

  • No, people are not flocking to Conservapedia "to get information". They're going on there to see your stupidity for themselves.

  • oh jeez

  • Hey, you know what? Don't blame the world for being skeptical of us Americans. We totally deserve it.

  • It's true that wikipedia has no grasp of reality: interesting factoid: conservapedia is using mediawiki software (owned by wiki foundation, i.e. jimbo and his minions)

Interesting factoid: enlightenment / rennaisance was created by muslim Spain and al-andalus.

  • conservapedia is nothing but a crock of shit.

  • In Conservapedia, they say atheists have no evidence.

"Unlike Christianity, which is supported by a large body of evidence, atheism has no proof and evidence supporting its ideology."

That is in the article about atheism. Conservapedia is the most biased wiki ever.

  • lol, christfags

    encyclopediadramaticaDOTcom/kittens

  • yes and the only logical explanation for why something would be not leaning towards Christianity is that they are false.

  • Outstanding

  • "The class agreed that wikipedia was unsuitable for learning world history." No shit Sherlock! Isn't that what teachers and schools are for?

  • I tried to edit an article in wikipedia about violence against "pro-choice activists" to show include the violence against pro-life activists my information was removed despite the fact that I even cited my sources.

  • Wiki pedia, gives it to ya straight. Conservapedia...you might as well buy your Sonic the hedgehog knock off backpacks in Mexico. With the Off Coloring, and odd placement of lettering.

  • Since when was Jesus American? He was a liberal Jewish 33 year-old bachelor.

  • CHRISTIANITY' ROLE IN THE RENAISSANCE!?!??!?! are you fucking kidding me!!! it was completely opposed to the renaissance!! Ever heard of Galileo you fucking morons!

  • @FinnishFuturist

See you have been indoctrinated into believing that Christianity was completely absent from the Renaissance.

  • @BenjaminWirtz Indoctrinated by whom? The facts? The Renaissance represents a victory over religious dogma. Are you seriously arguing that Christianity HELPED the Renaissance???? You must be a fool.

  • @FinnishFuturist

Ever heard of a little thing called the reformation? That was part of the Renaissance.

  • @BenjaminWirtz Yes i am aware of the the protestant reformation. It was part of the

Renaissance but it wasn't a contributing factor more like a result.

  • ''Wikipedia has become anti american''

It isn't supposed to be ''american'' and i've never heard of any country besides america that has ever used the term anti(insert country here).

  • Conservapedia is clearly the most bias thing I've came across.

Claiming that Atheism is a primary cause for suicide. And that more have died in the name of Atheism than any Theist cause. WITHOUT the mention of the crusades.

They claim to be unbiased, and their main contributor goes by the username of, brace yourself, "Conservative". I';m choking on the irony. Or is it the terrible smell of corrupted youth? I can't tell anymore.

  • @ShmeeSLG *Dances a Conservative Jig*

Doo di Lee Doo! Doo Di Lee...WAIT, Christianty in the Renaissance...

  • Absolutely, absolutely insane. Fodder for the ignorant.

  • I'm Andrew Schlaaaaafly

  • Wikipedia is, in fact, liberally biased- and so is the truth.

  • Conservapedia is the funniest website I've ever seen.

  • LOL, at the guy with the Che shirt on

  • ROFL. I looked up "socialism" on Conservapedia and had a huge picture of Hitler. BAhahaha.

  • Oh, it's written by children. That explains A LOT.

Y'know, Cpedia really reminds me of "The New Frontiersman" in Watchmen.

  • Dear Conservapedia,

We need to talk. Our divorce is doing more harm than good.

    Sincerely,

    Reality

  • 30 kids brainwashed, sigh

  • I like the idea behind conservapedia.. Both liberal and conservative bias tend to piss me off, but conservapedia is just a joke. Wikipedia at least uses credible sources for the most part, whereas conservapedia seems to dig out the information they want to believe, and leave out the information they feel could damage the conservative point of view. Conservapedia is also ridiculously self-righteous, making claims that are downright bizarre. And since when did conservatism equal being Christian?

  • Comment removed

  • conservapedia is too US centric, no encyclopedia that aims to inform people around the world should make the US flag its logo. I wouldn't be surprised if having a Canadian ip address would get someone blocked for being a troublemaker. my account was blocked and all I did was ask why information about Canada wasn't as up to date as other articles.

  • is there any alternative to conservapedia for people who want more freedom given to the other side of issues than wikipedia gives (not a criticism against the site just that when you have most administrators at the website h aving a bias against creationism, Christianity, regular users who want to make contributions to those articles are more heavily moderated and censored).

  • Wikipedia has moderators that are vindictive.

I quoted a book about a communist, and not only was that deleted and I was warned about "vandalism", but all my entries in all of Wikipedia about math and science were deleted.

America needs to wake up about the communist orthodoxy going on in Wikipedia.

  • As a conservative, I find Conservapedia's assertions are ridiculous, willfully ignorant, and damaging to conservatism. It is in fact damaging to our country.

The way to counter the liberal bias is not by dragging conservatism through the mud of ignorance, but by being a better example of common sense, morality, and honest inquiry. Please stop.

  • @drfoxcourt I'm not a conservative but it's good to see one who sees this website for what it is. No matter what we believe we should be willing to see our own flaws and be wary of painting all information with our own tint.

    Dangerous stuff.

  • conservapedia is the only source of info on the net that it is accurate. In that when you reverse what they say you have correct information.

  • why do you guys censor?

  • Conservapedia is a joke. These idiots are gonna grow up to be the Pat Robertsons and all that crap.

  • @DrVoodoochild312 naw we're about to enter the dark ages again. but this time it might end up like road warrior. of course the world will close America's borders. no one allowed in or out... you better not be inside the borders when this shit actually happens... you want to be where civilization is going to be.. :D

  • It's really funny: In this assembly of ultra right wing conservatives there is a boy with Che Guevara on his T-Shirt.

Yet Che Guevara, the red atheist is really somebody they should hate with all their guts.

That proves how much they have a contradictory attitude.

  • @hunchbacked I think its a Che Guevara image with a diagonal 'no' symbol, hard to say though as the whole image doesnt come up.

That said, don't mistake me for sticking up for conservapedia, i'm not! It's like they don't even try to seem objective.

  • I don't think that there exists anything which isn't biased.

You only express something according to your own point of view.

But at least Wikipedia is an open site, reasonably objective, with a little subjectivity here and there (and as much from the right as from the left).

The problem with conservapedia is that it is exclusively right wing subjective.

Just look how poor the articles about science are.

  • "Wikipedia has become unsuitable because it's become very biased."

Er...as if Conservapedia isn't biased? At least Wikipedia tries to be neutral, Conservapedia is so biased, well....it's quite sad, really.

  • "Wikipedia has become unsuitable because it's become very biased."

Er...as if Conservapedia isn't biased? At least Wikipedia tries to be neutral, Conservapedia is so biased, well....it's quite sad, really.

  • wikipedia isn't a valid source for research. unlike conservapedia though at least it has facts. You know, facts? Those fiddly things that make your opinion worth a damn?

  • @hornylink

My biochemistry lecturer strongly advised us not to use Wikipedia during the final year of my chemistry degree, but to go to peer-reviewed sources instead.

  • @PortVienna80 that's valid advice, but wikipedia's still a good quick source, especially if you know how to check their sources.

  • wikipedia has entries with intelligent design and creationism.

why is there a guy with che guevara on his shirt on a conservative meating? that was a communist fyi... but ignorants don't know history.

  • I just about punched my moniter. I had to hold it back.

  • war is peace

    slavery is freedom

    ignorance is strength

  • @raz357 love it :P best comment

can also say, a site where you can get researched and well intentioned information for the whole planet and everyone everywhere = bad

site based solely on prejudice and overzelous and extremist christian views - good

makes you lose faith dunnit :P

  • wikipedia may be biased, but conservapedia is overt bullshit.

  • OMFG! They say wikki is biased against conservative christians and cretionism. What they meant to say was that it represents reality which is of no use for creationists.

  • This guy is so self-deluded, I don't know if it's more funny or sad.

CP is not a respected site and may of the page views are people looking for entertainment. It's the most unintentionally funny site on the web.

  • They need to stop their silly argument against gay marriage. Gay marriage could potentially be a massive economic solution. 15 million gay couples spending $1000 on their weddings will pump $15 BILLION into the economy. Not to mention what they'll spend on divorces and raising children.

  • @JusrPhilNY

Better than that: They need to stop existing.

  • 0:52 what he doesn't know is that most of those page views are from people going over for a good old laugh. I go there every time I'm bored to see what they've gotten wrong that week the most.

  • exactly :D

  • Seriously? Photos of Hitler and Stalin are splashed all over their evolution article. Verrry subtle. I thought this was a joke until what's-his-name appeared on the Colbert Report.

  • this scares me so much. i hope people don't start manipulating facts to suit there wants like this. i can't believe there are people who believe this.

  • wikipedia is user-created. You just got outnumbered.

  • 2:25 "so you're telling me this is a BOOK and not corn on the cob?"

  • By the way...wikipedia is great for history..I support only facts...not opinionated bull shit like what your site teaches...btw thanks for the Lulz I get from reading your site. And no one is flocking. Check out Richard Lenski's work for the evolution Oright he won't give it to you because you didn't read it all you did was whine about the underlying data you mean the bacteria themselves...You'd probally tamper with it or opps it slipped and you are hardly a expert in biology kthxbai

  • So about the FBI incident, do the FBI still block your calls. Way to waste the tax payers money on that one Andy. By the way GREAT JOB FIGHTING SO CALLED "BIAS" WITH ULTRA-BIAS. In the words of Stephen Colbert, you my friend are great at truthiness

  • You gotta love all those lies Andy and his brainwashed band of children were spouting. Yes, Conservapedia DOES give the other side- But they apparently forgot to give the first one, too. Also, generally, people aren't going to Conservapedia because it's better than Wikipedia, but to laugh at their stupidity and/or vandalize. Together, we can help fight the biased, ignorant intolerance of Conservapedia. Liberapedia ftw

  • Who doesn't love Conservapedia? It's always good for a laugh.

  • Conservapedia is so heavily biased it makes my head spin.

  • A liberal (also leftist) is someone who rejects logical and biblical standards, often for self-centered reasons.

That was taken from Conservapedia itself, seriousely it's extremely flawed. To the point it seems they want to start a war

  • I was under the impression that Conservapedia had become a sort of joke. Like, people will post outrageous things on it in a sort of mocking way.

  • Andy is worlds worst butthurt guy.

If you ask me, conservative biases are much worse than liberal

"Burn all homosexuals!"-shit, and they tell conservapedia is child-friendly. well you can suck my balls

  • 0:03 look at that one... ancestors should have gotten out more.Out of the holler.

  • Lol....hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha... I can't believe this guy has a law degree? Do they give law degrees away in cracker jacks?

  • I wonder what that guy has to hide, all the crazies like him do. Or maybe his crazy ass mom Phyllis is to blame. What did his dad shove up his ass? The truth is out there.

  • Combating perceived bias with propaganda! Thats the way to do it! Good job with that!

  • Conservapedia is weak

  • RationalWiki. *runs away from TK

  • Conservapedia should be called ignoramouspedia.

Anyone who teaches creationism to children should be charged with child abuse.

  • They prey on homeschoolers.

  • This makes me want to cry. Those are young people who have been totally brainwashed. It's absolutely sickening.

Christianity's influence on science? Are you kidding me? How about how you constantly put down the fact of evolution because it doesn't jive with your "I am the descendant of people made from dirt and magic" theory? Or how about Galileo, who was IMPRISONED by the church for DARING to suggest a heliocentric solar system?

    Your website is garbage.

  • oh yes Wikipedia has a supposed "Liberal-bias" so lets combat it with a complete Conservative-bias with such mind boggling articles I'm starting to think it's just one big joke.

  • HolyknightVader,

The whole point of a Wiki is that it can be edited.

  • Conservapedia's definition of bias is saying anything negative or critical of Christianity or the U.S. government.

Conservapedia's definition of accuracy is being biased against everything else in the world.

It's also interesting that Schlafly needed children to help with his project, and couldn't get any approval from actual experts.

Conservapedia isn't "fair." It's just unfair in a different direction.

  • Fans of Conservapedia: choose just about any topic, including any religious topics (including hundreds having to do with Christianity) and look at the articles in both Conservapedia and Wikipedia and decide for yourself which is better balanced and of higher quality. There really is no choice.

  • I am your father!

  • If people actually took these guys seriously, we'd still be living in the dark ages.

  • @DarkForces99

    Some do take them seriously.

Some think they are the "honor" of America.

  • Hey, c'mon, be fair to the guy......just as there's a wiki for ultra-liberals, there also has to be a wiki for conservatives. And I have to hand it to Conservapedia, They actually protect their own website from stupid freelance editing, unlike other wikis.

  • white people

  • No, Wikipedia was unsuitable for learning YOUR version of world history. This guy is the typical extremist, exploitable easily impressionable young people to do his bidding.

  • "I don't have to live with what's printed in the newspaper..."

No Andy. Create your own reality. Much safer that way. Moron.

  • "It welcomes all, just the way Americans do"?! Oh, America welcomes all, does it? Just like you "welcome all" homosexuals, hm?

Is this shit serious? I can hardly believe what I'm hearing here. The level of hypocrisy is frankly sickening; they talk about wikipedia being biased one moment, and says that there are people who are "obsessed" with promoting Evolution the next. You might say they promote with...let's say..."religious fervor", hmm?

And that guy's voice is SO annoying.

  • well of corse wikipedia is unsuitable its fucking non official ~

as someone who lives in the UK im starting to se e how young the americans start their brainwashing process and im fucking scared

how can we compete with this relentless ignorance

  • How scary that this guy is actually allowed to teach children. I flock to Conservapedia for a good laugh.

  • lmao

they tried to use Wikipedia as a source

  • I think Andy seems to have some strange definition of "fair and unbiased" that I'm unfamiliar with. As far as I'm concerned, treating something fairly means treating it with personal detachment. As far as I can see, according to Andy, if you aren't rapidly pro-something and quoting directly from the bible, you must be biased against it.

  • Why is that guy wearing a Che Guevara t-shirt?

  • Because he's the only educated one there. You can tell he's being held gunpoint behind the camera.

  • Yeah I noticed that too.

  • Good God, look how delusional these nutjobs are. I got this from their front page, and was apparently just added recently:"The social media tracking website Surchur reveals that fifteen out of twenty of the newest YouTube videos mention Conservapedia in a positive light." Fifteen out of twenty You tube videos mention them in a positive light? Do they seriously thing that that 15 out of every 20 You Tube videos have ANYTHING TO EVEN DO WITH THEM?

  • Just heard Andy's mom on the radio, and I now understand his idiocy much more thoroughly.

  • I've looked everywhere for this so-called "liberal bias" in Wikipedia everywhere they said it was, and I couldn't find any.

  • What a cunt.

  • @tmcfulton.

Of all the three hundred comments on this video, I think this is probably the one that sums it up in the simplest and most accurate way possible. Those who spend their lives indoctrinating others are nothing but controlling, immoral and egotistical c... well, it's already been said, and I value my account.

Still, ballsy call on your part and certainly a valid point.

  • Really? Conservapedia calling wikipedia bias? Everyone, let's try and find a conservapedia article that doesn't mention Jesus/Christianity/God.

  • remember, Andy's most awesome belief is that men are inherently inferior to men. He gives his students exams divided by gender, because girls are not a smart as boys. Check out Conservapedia, a shining example of radical thought.

  • ARRRMMM ANDEEE SCHLAAAFLEY

  • everytime i need a good laugh i go to conservapedia to read what bullshit they have to say about various things i never knew could be controversial

kudos for their article on japan...only found one biased statement, the rest seemed pretty centrist (who the hell would want to trash modern japan anyways haha)

  • Funny how when andy talks about the health alleged aspects of homosexuality and about the alleged biblicial quotes against homosexuality he seems to forget to mention that his own brother is homosexual. And even mentioning his brothers name on conservapedia will get you an instant ban from there.

  • the clips of Schlafly don't do his appearance any favors ... he looks like some cult leader

  • I HAYTE DEMS LIBRALZ!11

    FOLLO JEYSUS!!1one!

  • God i feel sorry for those brainwashed kids. By the way, NEWTON DIDN'T BELIEVE THAT JESUS WAS GOD! Look it up in a reality-based encyclopedia. But after all, reality does have a liberal bias.

  • If Richard Dawkins was willing, he'd DESTROY Ass fly..........oops, I mean SCHLAFLY, in a public debate.

  • So am I to understand that Newton was able to invent physics and calculus because he was a Christian and not just because he was the smartest motherfucker of all time?

  • Also, you guys have 90 million hits. WIKIPEDIA HAS OVER TWO HUNDRED MILLION HITS A DAY!!!

I'd say people are flocking over to Wikipedia.

  • Why don't people just raid the site or something? I mean just look at all the people that hate it.

  • They get banned. Sadly.

  • I know that, but why doesn't someone organize something?

  • Perhaps people have tried.

  • it looks like there are a some people there who are not trolls but are trying to influence the site to make the articles less insane. they aren't really managing because conservapedia's power structure makes wikipedia look like an open democracy.

  • It's been tried. CP's administrators ban people at the first sign of deviance.

  • I call for a DOS Attack!

  • Look up the article on Bugler on Rationalwiki.

  • You seriously have no right to call anybody out for being bias. There is a negligible amount of bias on Wikipedia, if none at all. I visit Conservapedia because I think its funny how stupid some people are. I am just amazed how you can call it a "trustworthy encyclopedia".

  • I'm sure the 80 million hits are an indication of how many people visit to see how incorrect these people are. One biased thing I've noticed was that they refer to Mr. Spock as a "half-breed", which is rude and properly is used for Native Americans.

And they do mention Christianity on the Renaissance and Isaac Newton. Funny, they called Wikipedia biased but Conservapedia is even more biased.

  • The reason why their edit was delete... was because it is bias...

  • Just look at those children, it is very tragic that because of good ol Andrew these children will grow up to be free thinking people, they won't be capable of doing any critical thinking and making decisions by themselves.

    I find that sad.

  • Grammar Correction.

"it is very tragic that because of good ol Andrew these children will grow up to be free thinking people."

I meant to put in "not" in between will and grow.

  • They're all just trolls at conservapedia.

  • Conservapedia is the greatest humor Wiki I've ever read. They're WAY funnier than Uncyclopedia!

  • Definitly! I though I would hate them because I'm so liberal but it was just too ridiculous

  • is kind of ridiculous that they say wikipedia is bias... but just look at the title of Conservapedia alone...
