I am surprised that the RT commentators haven't managed to accuse the U.S. of this tragedy. I wonder how many people here realize that RT is actually financed by the Kremlin? You would think they got over their Cold War mentality, but with Putin in charge, I guess that still isn't the case. It is a disgrace that any American station would allow them to broadcast here, although I will defend to the death their right to do it!
@llortatsujmai your a fuckin dick buddy..i'd like to come jam a hockey stick up your ass an watch you hop around like a pogo...show some respect losing so many lifes, is nothin to smile about you fuckin douche bag..R.I.P

@llortatsujmai Wtf, man, all live has a value. Saying this just makes you decent like 8-year old boy and of course "troll" of your magnitude who dares to say things like that has probably same IQ (sorry to all 8-years old, most of you are probably more clever that this). Also I just love people who knows nothing about aircraft shouting that Russian planes are bad. R.I.P. Lokomotiv
@HomoCallidus "The aircraft, a Yakovlev Yak-42D, construction number 4520421301017, was first flown by Tatarstan Airlines in 1993 and was later sold to charter airline Yak-Service, who was the operator of the plane when it crashed. The aircraft, whilst being operated by Tatarstan Airlines, had been banned from making flights to the European Community in 2009, following airworthiness and air safety concerns." Great, take more lives russia.
@TandTProject u cant blame the crash on the fuel. The fuel is strictly under control to be right. Engine failiure is an possible theory, it explains the low take of angle. But it could just as well have been pilote error. Its unknown if the plane were loosing or gaining altitude during the crash. If gaining, the pilot could just have made the mistake to not get as much altitude as recommended. We'll just have to wait and let the investigators find the answer. R.I.P anyways its very tragic :(
ohhh let me guess .........its those pesky terrorists again, and they used one of those SAMs from the pile that vanished in libya a few days ago......
For this, please deactivate like-dislike. This has been an absolutely dreadful offseason...3 players committed suicide and now an entire team gone.
At least several of these players were prominent for many years in the NHL, including the coach, Brad McCrimmon (1222 NHL games) and Pavol Demitra (847 NHL games).
So? The like/dislike isn't necessarily in regards to the content (I can't imagine 60 people at this time enjoy a plane crash), it's about the quality of reporting. Without the ranking system, this video will have a much harder time finding more viewers. If anything this needs to be brought into the light.
Russian planes are notorious for having bad safety records. These planes are poorly maintained and allowed to fly when in the United States or UK would never be allowed on the tarmac. Hopefully this will be an incentive to fix these major problems.
There were three former Detroit Red Wings on that plane. The Red Wings are my home team. I've seen all of them play. May they rest in peace, they are sorely missed.
Sad for all and their Canuck coach, cannot discount the witness that said he heard a bang and then the back of plane separated. That sounds very bad and at low speeds structural breakage would not likely be a bang.
I just lost my team to winnipeg but at least they will play elsewhere. Good god what a tragedy. I shall go to church in the morning and pray for everyone. Rest in peace you ice warriors. Such a sad summer for hockey fans.
@TenzoRH2 Just shows how ignorant you are. It wasn't the planes fault. It was the pilot error. Mind you, USA has a good record of pilot error and fault planes.
@rp1dmc OK. It's not because of the planes, it was pilot error. And keep in mind that Russia is a big country and USA has a handful of pilot error crashes and due to plane failure.
@rp1dmc So if it isn't pilot error why do you jump to conclusion that it was the plane's fault. And technically when it hits something on takeoff its pilot error or human error.
i dont think so. how i allready said, i survived very strong turbulences over Kazakhstan 1983 cuz of yak-42 only. its a good plane, and this one was built 1993, so isnt old one for an plane.
i dont get why ppl blame russian planes if american or european crashes too.
how can u explain boeing crash in russia this month?
u're an fucking idiot dude. i survived 1883 cuz of yak-42 only. stop to troll motherfucker if u have no fucking idea what tha fuck are u talking about, BIATCH!
btw in russia, and many boeings around the world crashes too.
I guess it must be a hard pill to swallow for you as you seem to be a fanatic or even a borderline-Lunatic but a lot of soviet era technology are now obsolete at best or even unsafe at worst.
I'm pretty sure that a lot a Russians agree with me or they wouldn't be buying Audi, Mercedes, BMW, Range Rover...... cars instead of shitty "Soviet era" Lada cars.
I tend to agree with you on some points but when you read reports stating that: "the plane the team was flying on was forbidden from European Union airspace for being too unsafe by the European Air Safety Commission".
One can ask himself questions as to whether this plane was safe of not.
@neovannn I agree with you, but it clearly shows human error. If everything was going fine but the engines just failed, that would be another story. And actually, Airbus and Boeing has a history of fault planes. The Hudson, engine failure. The Airbus a380 that crashed in france due to engine failure. The main reason old Soviet planes are known for the crashes is due to PILOT error (letting kids sit on plane, alcohol, etc, this happened). But after many aviation regulations, it is much better.
Lack of regulation/enforcement for aircraft safety... a taste of what republican America would look like - Putin's Russia.
Fukn shame - KHL runner-up last year; can anyone imagine if the Vancouver Canucks, Pittsburgh Steelers, or Miami Heat all died in a plane crash tomorrow? That's some seriously sad stuff; heart out of Yaroslavl
2 of Russias latest Soyuz rockets launches have failed, Russias aircraft are famous for crashing, even Afghan air force knew not to take flight during Americas invasion, not only because they knew their SU's had no chance but because Russian aircrafts are infamous for their crash record.
THIS has gone on long enough!!! DON'T fly Russia!!!
