  • What is the battery used and time of flight with all this weight?

  • That is the coolest sound I have ever heard!

  • DAYUM!! That motherfucka can outperform my Brookstone Parrot AR Drone. Where can I buy this version of the Hexacopter?

  • @cclayhammer Its designed to cary navy cameras into the air to get cool shots and they cost about $4000. I recommend sticking with the AR Drone.

  • whoa! That thing rocks!

  • plenty of power to spare too!

  • Perfekte Landung!

  • Hmmmm, scaled up to full size turbo-electric.......

  • you can build it for about $2k.

  • I love this but I hear it costs like 10,000 dollars. Is that right ?

  • Very Cool, what sort of stabilization or control system are you using?

  • @superjaykramer He's using his own controller. KK is quite wellknown

Read his forum thread and you'll get all the specs

  • Very nice.

  • nice drone

  • love the work youve done. really nice stuff. was wondering what part of the world you live in.

  • Great work, please can you share specification: motors, props and which ESC. This looks like real aerial photo platform!

  • if for some reason one of the motors died or you spun a prop off in mid flight, would you still be able to control it? that would be a really cool test

  • @Lithoushine The more motors you have - the less sensitive the copter gets.

A tricopter wpuldn't be flyable if one of the motors failed.

An octacopter would probably be flyable if two motors failed.

  • very nice work

  • That was amazing!! Both the payload, the vessel and piloting skills.. i love this!

  • I bet that absolutely destroyed your flight time. :P Quite a bit of power there, nice!

  • That thing looks rock solid ! Hats off to your skills ;)

  • Wow i actually thought you were heading up for a flip :)

  • Incredible!

When you going to build yourself an HD camera? :D

  • That's nuts man, cool :-)

  • Well done man!

  • that is one cool hexacopter. very good work . thanks for shareing

  • Simply awesome!

  • time to strap on a production quality camera

  • This has so many applications. Awesome engineering on this machine. Well Done mate.
