@xihuntin Yeah Sengoku basara and all those other samurai games mainly made by TOEI are COMPLETELY different from Onimusha. Onimusha adds in a bit of fiction and non-fiction like the rest but the gameplay as well as the actual storylines are great. Not saying the others aren't but this series is on a whole new level.

@xihuntin yes, Dynasty Warriors pulled it off - but ONIMUSHA isn't Dynasty Warriors.

The storyline is always important in these games. Onimusha doesn't need repettiive "CTF" or "Team Deathmatch" or "Juggernaut". It'd be like giving Fallout or Elder Scrolls.

Multiplayer is a modern-generation thing, its overrated. Onimusha needs a focused, epic single player - not an overrated, lowbrow multiplayer. Or at least they need to make multiplayer DLC - I don't want the storyline bogged down because half of the budget went into making a laggy multiplayer engine.

either this is messed up or my PS2 hates it, everytime i go Black Oni my game freezes... what made this game suck was that Soki didnt get his own weapons but he borrowed weapons from Onumusha 1 and 3 like Raizen and Enryuu. His original weapon would be his blue sword...

Yes the movie was delayed due to the sudden death of Heathe Ledger, who was supposed to play as Roberto from Onimusha 4. The director couldn't find a more proper replacement so the movie was placed on hiatus.

I hope it does come out too. An onimusha movie would be great to watch especially if Takeshi Kaneshiro will play as Samanosuke, which I think he will. Samanosuke's design was based on Takeshi anyway.

This was my favorite seen in the entire game. Its where The main character fights against that giant statue beast as your first boss fight. You go Oni mode while ontop of a random building and just start brawling with the big ass monster and its sword. All the while, this music is playing in the background.....Oh man, flash backs are the shit.
