If you believe that our nation should have a REAL SPACE PROGRAM call your HOUSE REP today and tell them to VOTE FOR bill,
H.R. 5781. The House Science & Technology Committee approved H.R. 5781 with strong bipartisan support. You might have to wait till September for the vote.
The fact both the Senate and the House dislike the Obama Space policy should give Miles a clue that Obama's NASA is on a road to nowhere.
the competition was not accessible, and when I read the rules, Canadians cannot apply (like we dont have IMAX) ! Ouch ! Still a good episode, missed you guys last week :P Keep up the good work. If you feel bad about all this, you could just mail me some pizza-hut cupons or TANG or something, lol
That competition DOES NOT WORK, it says "Survey closed" when I try to enter it. Clicking the "rules" link also just brings you back to the same page.
Is it just that everyone that works with IT are retarded or do they simply not care?
My oppinion of NASA shifts for the worse every time I have to visit their miserable excuses for web implementations. Just pay a 15 year old stoner to do the work PROPERLY instead of the high cost consultants from MS/IBM/Bullshitery Inc/whatever.
Elon Musk is gonna be real embarrassed if he can't deliver. At least he should be. Of course I really do want SpaceX to make it. Right now they're the only thing going as far as man launches from the US after the shuttles sunset.
I must admit I never liked the shuttle design. Solid rockets are just so unforgiving. 100% in fact. But the reliability has surprised me even with the two disasters. I hate to see them shut down. Seen it before with Apollo.
@moneyman10k Oh he will be embarrassed if his Dragon capsule fails in some way. The man has a huge ego.
As I said, I hope it all goes well. Right now he's the best shot in town for future manned missions from the US.
I think it's incredibly short sighted to completely shut down shutlle mission. Even two a year would be helpful. What if some disaster strikes the ISS? That's it. Billions and billions of dollars and countless man years of labor could be lost because we can't get there.
Really miss this show..

I think this show deserves some real air time. Comparing to all the crap that is on TV these days TWiS is much more entertaining and informative.

YES! This should be a weekly :30 show on the Science channel. Actually, it should be prime time on a major network.
