@jeffeastwood15 - I'm not you have one, but here Bank Holidays are normally on Mondays, where the banks close for the day (and so do most shops - although recently more and more shops are starting to open on this day). It's a day off for everybody else, and there's one in January, two in May and one in August (there may be more I've forgotten! :$)
