  • What a shame no one but friends and family turned up! No matter how you feel about NRL today at least the crowds are much bigger.

  • @helmesy The NSWRL were charging exorbitant prices to see the football at the SFS in 88 because it was brand new.The fans didn't like it! In fact I remember a picture in Rugby League Week at a Roosters game in 88 where the club put on some cheap $5 seats for the fans and they were crammed in like battery hens,most left by half time,while looking at 20000 vacant seats!!
