I am also obsessed with Victorian era. I remember watching an early reality show on Channel 4, where a family lived like the victorians. I loved watching it, and recently rediscovered it again a couple of weeks ago.
I really want to read Lady Daisy now :) I used to read Jacqueline Wilson when I was younger. I remember reading The Lottie Project, but can't remember now..Also,I gave my Jacqueline Wilson books to the daughter of one of my (then) work colleagues....
argh! Why have I just found this video??? SO many things I like from this video.
First, your teacher sounds awesome!! A couple of summers ago I went on a roadtrip with my parents to the villages where my ancestors came from and I found myself taking photos of the gravestones with the surnames linked to me...? After that summer I started working as an English teacher in Spain and told my students. They either thought I was awesome or a weirdo... I think the latter won lol
for my it was Matilda and the BFG by roald dahl, The Egypt Game by zilpha keatley snyder, Baby Island by carol ryrie brink, Treasure Island by robert louis stevenson, and How To Care For Your Monster by norman bridwell.
@TheSistersAwesome haha I'm pretty sure I was Matila when I was little - minus the horrible parents! I've never read treasure island, one of the biggest hang-my-head facts of my life. The BFG, unrivalled! :) x
@TheSistersAwesome i know you commented a year ago but the egypt game was one of my all time favorites when i was in elementary school! i read it and reread it so many times!!!

I regret doing that now. But hofully I will have created another Jaqueline Wilson fan.
Did you watch a programme on the BBC about diaries? Really interesting :)
I agree with other subscribers in that I like it when you do book videos. There's a website called goodreads, very useful.
Oh yeah, about your blog. When I comment my name either comes up as "Nat" or "Penny", it depends on blog's mood. My blog is iblameoprah.blogspot.com
I am done :) Only took me 3 posts.
