Seriously, this is Venus. Go download Stellarium. Key in your location co-ordinates (use google earth to get a real good long/latitude). Plug in location data, roll the date back to August 28th 2005, and see Venus in the sky curving down in that slow arc you see in the video. also likely at gone 3 minutes the image on the left higher up is Jupiter appearing. I just did a rough check for London that date looking west... oh what did I see..... Venus!!! do some research, the truth is there

I live in London and I made this recording. Whatever it is, you can't see it there "every night." Furthermore, this was filmed before 6pm, not at nighttime... the original recording is lighter - the transfer to computer darkens my recordings as well as making them less distinct. Then the quality suffers again in uploading to youtube.

It is certainly not "typical" of Venus or any star. I've been living here for years and looking out over the skies in the evenings and nothing on any occasion has been that close to the BT Tower. I've also got a video of something that looks similar to this, but different coloured at closer range. I've read hundreds of books and thousands of articles on the subject of UFOs. I know from personal experiences (not just this), as well as the reports of others that they appear "star-like" sometimes.
(I mean nothing star-like or planet-like has been in the sky anything like that close to the BT Tower on any other occasion, including at the same time of the year at the same time in the late afternoon/early evening)

It´s not a star, cause the other stars are not visible, but it´s probably Venus, cause that planet are descending (20 degrees from the horizon) at 8 PM in London.
If you look at the top left area at 04:00 you will see another star not quite so bright, if anyone wishes to spend another 4.33 minutes looking at one, I suggest they go outside and look up, theirs billions of them.

Those are not birds you idiots. Ive seen the same or similar things in Hereford, UK on the Saturday 26/8/6 at about 9.20pm. They were very low just floating across the sky, about 20 metres up. Brilliant Orangey Red balls of lights, silent, and in formation. They just vanished in the same spot one after another after going passed. We all saw them. The military cant explain these things either. They were very wired, yet amazing. And i know what a balloon looks like! They are becoming more common.

The lower you get the tighter the holding pattern gets, hence why you never really see many jets in a high holding pattern due to cloud cover. Makes you think :p
I guess you´we never seen a satellite then, they cross horizon to horizon in 10 - 15 min, haven´t you seen ISS? It is the exact right speed for venus,considering it completes the entire orbit in 24 hours as the earth rotates. Well it's defo not a star, i speaks from experience, there's no way you could single out a star with that cam of yours. the mag of it is unreal for a star. Venus comes close in brightness for that time of year, but sorry it does not move at that speed, the moon is closer and with a slower motion.

All your video's just look like planes flying towards you and go in to land. I see this all the time from my house, as the back window faces heathrow airport. You don't see any other lights flash, just one light just like that... that at first seems to not move, then starts moving slightly sideways / down. then as it gets a lot closer u then may see the lights.
Seems you're trying to spread confusion by mixing this up with other vids I've posted. A few of the others do (seemingly) have planes on, as well as other lights less easy to be sure of. Not this one.

Yes, this is very likely to be Venus. Assuming this is evening, and northern hemisphere summer, the planet would move south to north along the western horizon before setting. A good way to identify planets is to learn to remember where the plane of the ecliptic is likely to be - Venus will be following along in the path of the Sun. A previous poster who said Venus would be stationary in the sky - wow - only points near the celestial poles would appear stationary.
If you think this is Venus, I guess you must be experiencing a mental aberration or mind control. South to North direction, I dont know what it could be, it kinda looks like a airliners main lights but there should be some other sign of aviation lights even a that distance unless it's heading straight at you, but its travelling at an angle to your position!, theres gotta be an explination!.
Its not twinkling so it's not a star, it's moving at a constant speed just like the Earths rotation would cause, and the light is'nt changing at all unlike a plane.
Wikipedia (etc.) states that the planets appear to move east to west. This thing is moving in a south to north direction. If you, or anyone else, knowing that, still think it could be a planet, please explain why.
the camera is not moving in an arc and the recording is not speeded up. Airplanes do often appear like that when flying head on or slightly off that traj. It is not a planet, but it might be a helicopter. if not then it is most definitely unidentified.

Yes, there is some more of the recording. I wouldn't quite say I got bored of looking at it; but, it seemed that it wasn't going to change course or do anything else different, so I decided I'd got enough while it was still visible.

i took a few screen shots and used some photo editing software.after adding a filter to make it appear as a film negative,you can clearly see this is an oval object moving at angles behind the tower.take away the light yur left with a solid ball.the object was there for sure.
PLEASE OBSERVE! The object has moved lower down at 4mins (Venus has done a 90deg turn?) See object at lower middle R to L 25secs to 28secs. See object top R to L at 110secs to 120secs. NO lights. Ponder again.
The cameraman MUST give us information on whether the object was the same shape when NOT looking through his view-finder. If it was the same shape, it's definately a UFO from out of this world.

It's most likely to be a small plane flying towards the cameraman's horizon - but a bit to the right. If the tower wasn't there, the auto-focus from the camcorder would of concentrated on the flying object and preventing the round light effect. Or it could be a spaceship (seriously) but it's certainly NOT round. It's most probably a airplane or helicopter out of focus.
There isn't any reason at all to identify it as airplane or helicopter - nothing like any of the airplanes and helicopters (or lights of) I've ever seen from here (I've filmed them, also, and they don't resemble this light).
I've worked it out straight away what it is. You'll kick yourself! The camera is auto-focusing on the tower. All auto-focus concentrates on the nearest object. The flying object is well behind the tower and so it's out of focus. This will make its light appear round. Experiment with an airplane with your camcorder. Film it out of focus and that will appear round too.
The object is west from the BT tower as evidenced by the red sky on the horizon. I agree that the film was taken in the evening becuase you can hear substantial traffic noise. Is venus or any other bright celestial object visible in the Western sky at the time of the sunset at the end of August?

Check any website that gives planetary positions for various locations - enter your location and date. I did, it's Venus.
Note also the angle (and rate) at which it descends toward the western horizon. If celestial, the angle will be 90 degress minus your latitude.
Trust me and the others, it's simply Venus.

Thats a very nice probe.
I've been going through everyones Chemtrail footage hunting these spheres down in their videos. Its amazing. This doesnt mean they are not ours, they do look to be like a surveillance probe/ orb of sorts. Nice to see this one so close only came across two others

At that time I was the only person from the surroundings who was stunned to eyewitness it! I haven't shared it much still in a process of analysing that what it could possibly be: so far it wasn't a firework, plane or military aircraft doing stunts, or any of their missiles test, or any rockets, or a shooting star, or damaged satellite on its way down nor an asteroid breaking through ozone layer nor any of the human made objects...I will share something soon, thanks!

Is there anyone eyewitness of a bright yellow'ish object (it must be with in ozone layer, its app. size was 1cm longer & maybe 2mm thicker, on the sky) suddenly appearing on the 13-02-08 at 22:41 in London, stayed for 1.75sec app. then started travelling (downwards) with a mirrored 45° angle, for 1.25sec app. with a speed and disappeared? I just couldn't believe my eyes while I was looking at the moon figuring what could be lunar date but ended up with this!

Those are not birds you idiots. Ive seen the same or similar things in Hereford, UK on the Saturday 26/8/6 at about 9.20pm. They were very low just floating across the sky, about 20 metres up. Brilliant Orangey Red balls of lights, silent, and in formation. They just vanished in the same spot one after another after going passed. We all saw them. The military cant explain these things either. They were very wired, yet amazing. And i know what a balloon looks like! They are becoming more common.

i know i'm going to get flamed for this but what the hell.
It could just could be a pessanger jet in a high (about 9,000ft) holding pattern over a airfield.
The lower you get the tighter the holding pattern gets, hence why you never really see many jets in a high holding pattern due to cloud cover. Makes you think :p

Based on the time lapse, tooooooooo fast for a satellite, and Venus. Contact the airline pilot that passed the object at ~1:20 minutes.

I guess you´we never seen a satellite then, they cross horizon to horizon in 10 - 15 min, haven´t you seen ISS? It is the exact right speed for venus,considering it completes the entire orbit in 24 hours as the earth rotates. Haven't you ever been really bored just watching the shadow from the sun moving, making a mark every minute.

bull, i know London v well.Too many aircraft in the sky, i haven't got that much time on my hands to b a plane spotter..get a proper job and invest in a serious vid cam with some zoom, that way you can identify what models these commercial craft are...and therefore stop calling em U.F.O's.

All you reveal is your ignorance. The majority explanation by far is Venus or a star. Other people can see that there is NO AIRCRAFT STRUCTURE THERE. I have filmed helicopters/aeroplanes in that sky area and they are NOT LIKE THIS.

Well it's defo not a star, i speaks from experience, there's no way you could single out a star with that cam of yours. the mag of it is unreal for a star. Venus comes close in brightness for that time of year, but sorry it does not move at that speed, the moon is closer and with a slower motion.
But i do believe it could be a aircraft of some sort or a helicopter with search light on? is battersea behind that BT tower? Helicopters move like that...otherwise i don't know the answer.Goodluck!

All your video's just look like planes flying towards you and go in to land. I see this all the time from my house, as the back window faces heathrow airport. You don't see any other lights flash, just one light just like that... that at first seems to not move, then starts moving slightly sideways / down. then as it gets a lot closer u then may see the lights.

Seems you're trying to spread confusion by mixing this up with other vids I've posted. A few of the others do (seemingly) have planes on, as well as other lights less easy to be sure of. Not this one.

well, the only problem with your "theory" is if that was the case you wouldn't see the landing lights like this the whole time, unless you were right in front of it and the object was flying towards you, and this is moving side ways...So, I don't think so

we have had these heading westto east in lincoln, saw one two night ago, I've become a crank. fast very bright, non star material and not a plane of any so. A very bright star moving at a good speed. Local press reported other sightings earlier in the week. who knows

Yes, this is very likely to be Venus. Assuming this is evening, and northern hemisphere summer, the planet would move south to north along the western horizon before setting. A good way to identify planets is to learn to remember where the plane of the ecliptic is likely to be - Venus will be following along in the path of the Sun. A previous poster who said Venus would be stationary in the sky - wow - only points near the celestial poles would appear stationary.

If you think this is Venus, I guess you must be experiencing a mental aberration or mind control. I've watched stars and planets - they DO NOT EVER APPEAR TO MOVE THAT DISTANCE IN FOUR AND A HALF MINUTES. Nor are there EVER any stars or planets visible in that part of the sky, so apparently close to the BT Tower.

i saw one of these the other day wednesday to be precise. it kinda blew me and two other mates away. i got photos thank god. but yeah could be one of two things, a ball of light like the ones that are responsible for making crop circles. or some kind of goverment space craft that we just aint been told about. i realy do think its some sort of alian energy. crazy iether way. i saw it just over victoria london. peace

South to North direction, I dont know what it could be, it kinda looks like a airliners main lights but there should be some other sign of aviation lights even a that distance unless it's heading straight at you, but its travelling at an angle to your position!, theres gotta be an explination!.

Its not twinkling so it's not a star, it's moving at a constant speed just like the Earths rotation would cause, and the light is'nt changing at all unlike a plane.

Wikipedia (etc.) states that the planets appear to move east to west. This thing is moving in a south to north direction. If you, or anyone else, knowing that, still think it could be a planet, please explain why.

the camera is not moving in an arc and the recording is not speeded up. Airplanes do often appear like that when flying head on or slightly off that traj. It is not a planet, but it might be a helicopter. if not then it is most definitely unidentified.

Not sure, i'm not really convinced. I know it's not a plane, that's for sure. I'm just not sure if it's venus or not. I mean, it can change direction depending on the speed of dusk, and the elevation and terrain of the location. Just not sure. Cool video though, pretty interesting to see.

Yes, there is some more of the recording. I wouldn't quite say I got bored of looking at it; but, it seemed that it wasn't going to change course or do anything else different, so I decided I'd got enough while it was still visible.

if that is a planet,the earth just speeded up and fell off its axis.lol.if its a plane head on,it's flying sideways.lol.get a grip and examine the evidence.it's a very unidentified flying object.
i took a few screen shots and used some photo editing software.after adding a filter to make it appear as a film negative,you can clearly see this is an oval object moving at angles behind the tower.take away the light yur left with a solid ball.the object was there for sure.

PLEASE OBSERVE! The object has moved lower down at 4mins (Venus has done a 90deg turn?) See object at lower middle R to L 25secs to 28secs. See object top R to L at 110secs to 120secs. NO lights. Ponder again.

The cameraman MUST give us information on whether the object was the same shape when NOT looking through his view-finder. If it was the same shape, it's definately a UFO from out of this world.

It looked like a star or planet would look. But there is never a star or planet in that area of the sky. Thousands of people have seen star-like objects that don't behave like stars or satellites in their movement or changing appearance. U.S. Airforce Intelligence, in the 1950s, knew about UFOs hiding among the stars. Orfeo Angelucci called them "Roving Stars."

It's most likely to be a small plane flying towards the cameraman's horizon - but a bit to the right. If the tower wasn't there, the auto-focus from the camcorder would of concentrated on the flying object and preventing the round light effect. Or it could be a spaceship (seriously) but it's certainly NOT round. It's most probably a airplane or helicopter out of focus.

There isn't any reason at all to identify it as airplane or helicopter - nothing like any of the airplanes and helicopters (or lights of) I've ever seen from here (I've filmed them, also, and they don't resemble this light).

I've worked it out straight away what it is. You'll kick yourself! The camera is auto-focusing on the tower. All auto-focus concentrates on the nearest object. The flying object is well behind the tower and so it's out of focus. This will make its light appear round. Experiment with an airplane with your camcorder. Film it out of focus and that will appear round too.

The object is west from the BT tower as evidenced by the red sky on the horizon. I agree that the film was taken in the evening becuase you can hear substantial traffic noise. Is venus or any other bright celestial object visible in the Western sky at the time of the sunset at the end of August?
