the story of this stone is that the grandson of prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Imam Hussain's (A.S) head was placed on this stone after his shahadat (sacrifice for islam), so the blood of Hussain (AS) made this tone red which still looks frech blood like after hundreds of years.
