No, really Marathi movies are so much entertaining now a days, and the music is so much better. I feel lucky to be living in these times, where Marathi industries are coming up with so many classics. Hats off to all the Marathi movies directors, how can you pull off such things with such a low budget? If they had the resources, they could even leave behind the likes of Christopher Nolan.

Marathi industry is NO DOUBT coming out with better films than Bollywood. But wat we witness is that theaters are jammed for hindi films. When there is a movie like Morya on the box office, people crowd out for a shit like "Bodyguard".

Even more, a national award winning film like Baabu Band Baaja remains out of focus.

Its up to us, Marathi folks, to give rise to our OWN matrubhasha...

@shreddragon the problem with marathi movies is the publicity is never done properly.....atleast they should give frequent advertisements on marathi new channels, marathi movie and enternmaint channels... and if thier budget approves soem adds on the hindi music channel.....our bollywood audioence ar growing wider ...they will apretiate good movie in any languge jsut littile publicity...another gem of the movies missed in bad publicity is "shaala" promo was excellent for that movei aswell
