If I Can't Have You. i think this one was the best example. everybody has heard this song a million times and it's always been a fun song to hear (being disco) but Adam, for the first time ever, expressed the pain of the song.. like he said, "it doesn't matter how different the song sounds, as long as it's sung honestly" and that's what he did. i've never felt that way about this song before. so bad and so good at the same time. and it was Adam Lambert that showed me. gives me chills everytime

Adam Lambert is actually my idol!! and it's not because he's on an idol show... it's because of his talent, his creativity, and his heart.. i mean, he took songs like this on and Tracks Of My Tears, where the originals are upbeat, and found the emotional connection to them that the original artists didn't express. he blows my mind all the time! i think he's under appreciated ;p
