  • The good old days, when wrestling was actually about wrestling.

  • The original "Masterpiece" Paul Orndorff

  • Orndorff pinning Atlas? C'mon. Give me a break.

  • Orndorff also had a tendency to get jealous easily. For a guy that feuded with Hulk Hogan a lot during his WWF tenure, Orndorff always seemed to get jealous when he wasn't featured in the main events wrestling Hogan. I know that Orndorff & Hogan were very good friends in real life, but Orndorff would grow very bitter and do a lot of bitching if he was stuck in the midcard and not wrestling Hogan. He loved working with Hogan. That was his homie. He loved beating him up and making money with him

  • Mr. Wonderful Paul Orndorff was a tremendous wrestler, but the more I watched him wrestle I've always felt that he had an angry streak that ran through him and the more I see him in action, the more I feel my perception is correct. Throughout his career Paul Orndorff battled some demons, and his biggest detriment to his success was his ego. He was his own biggest fan. He wanted everything to be handed it to him on a silver platter and he wanted to be in all the main events. Very impatient man.

  • @lildwayne21 He also admitted to sucker punching Vader at the start of the infamous beating he gave him in 1995.

  • Can you download the entire show plz?

  • Tony Atlas = The definition of "Soul Power"...

  • Atlas was a bodybuilder, emphasis on WAS.

in a pro wrestling posedown, whoever wins the beatdown after, wins.

  • as far as who is heavier, just look at their legs.

Atlas looks like he's riding an ostrich with those chicken legs.

Mr. #1derful would win a bodybulding posedown bc he has a more complete physique.

  • @onederful100 gimme a break Tony Atlas was a professional body builder before he got into wrestling .and he competed in competitons for mr universe ..orndorff is just a bodybuilder who wrestles ..watch tuesday night titans that shows both of them in a posing contest .Atlas had a pretty good posing routine ..while orndorff looked like an average man trying to pose ...it was a mismatch

  • @fashizze But Orndorff is a much better wrestler than Tony Atlas is. Orndorff could do it all in that ring. He could wrestle extremely well if it boiled down to a scientific match and he definitely knew how to fight. Tony Atlas for the most part was just a body. Tony Atlas is the type of guy who needed a lot of instruction before he competed in a match. If Atlas didn't receive a lot of instruction of have someone to lead him, he couldn't have a good match on his own.

  • @lildwayne21 Ornorff was a good wrestler but after his matches with Hogan ..Paul never got back into main events .a mid carder till the end of his career

  • 3:33 Power indeed. Orndorff goes up eeeeasy

  • I listen to a Tony Atlas interview and I think this is the match he "didn't want to lose that night" He's shooting at 4:00, when he puts Orndorff down he looks so freaked out. Atlas jumping up after the pin and Orndorff running out of the ring with out even getting his hand raised is probably also unplanned.

  • This match must had been part of that card where hogan and roddy piper had that "the war to settle the score" match because if you notice what Gorilla said he said hi to Mr T

  • good match

  • looks like atlas had some knee issues in this footage.

  • No way does Orndorff pin Atlas in the real world.

  • 2 amazing bodybuilder wow

  • VERY OLD SCHOOL pro wrestling!!!

  • The first and only time Gene Okerlund does color

  • @toyotas2006 Actually, Gene Mean did commentary on numerous MSG house shows during 1984 and 1985.

Also, Howard Finkel (yes, THAT Howard Finkel) once did commentary on a house show held at the Meadowlands Arena.

  • that shaved head looks terrible!!black guys can pull a shaved head much better than white men for the most part...but atlas looks sickly...pink boots dont help either

  • Atlas's legs don't match his upper body.

  • was next to tony atlas in a motel lobby in st louis 1984. he is a very big guy.

  • @japanpro1 yes I met tony last yr in a clevland hotel hes still huge had the armless shirt on with dress slacks, lol

  • Gorilla Moonsoon: say what you want about Paula. LOL

  • PRE WRESTMANIA 18-2-1985 WRESTLEMANIA 1 WAS March 31, 1985

  • Damn! Atlas looks a lot heavier than 251. More like 285 at least. I was always impressed with Tony's physique but that is just ridiculous how much mass he has!

  • Didn't Atlas and Orndorff get into a real fight on a roadtrip where Orndorff put Atlas in the hospital for a few days? I remember Orndorff mentioning something along those lines in a shoot interview somewhere...

  • does mr. wounderful have a twin sister who`s name is paula? LOL

  • yo this is from WWE Classics On Demand, right?

  • Tony Atlas looks amazing in this video....And the Bald Head Made him look Bad Ass!!!

  • This was around the time that Atlas decided his hair loss was inevitable so he went clean.

  • That kneww looked awful damn real at 7:25

  • Hey Orndorff Ric Flair called and would like his robe back.

  • Same lady made their robes, married to Mr Wrestling II

  • Atlas was the man!

  • This man now lives in my town, I saw him eating at dennys, THe man eats like theres no tomorrow.

  • The nice thing about juiced about Atlas is that unlike many bodybuilders, at least he actually did have some athletic ability and some wrestling skills!

  • @robotontoilet

Yeah, Atlas was really a great wrestler given his size. He wasn't the best, but for a big, strong man, he was tops. Guys nowadays should look at him for an idea of how to do it right. Also, Atlas sold for guys pretty damn good and could make them look good, unlike a lot of these selfish fucks nowadays.

  • @SeanOMatic

    Agreed!

  • never tire of lookin at tony atlas's muscle
