hey just deleting the update wont let u do the glitch u have to delete ALL your saved data for dark souls (execpt trophys/achivement) but i suggest u beat the game first then after tht the game gets even harder and really who wants tht? so u can delete after u beat it then go striaght to the dragon right when u start no need to go through everything and the show dark souls whos boss with everything maxed out ;P (oh btw try the glitch with anything u throw and see the amusing results)

Just farm the forest or my personal fav soul farming place in Painted world, use Wrath of the God on that many ugly Phalanx, rest at bonfire and repeat. I never use glitch.

This has been patched but i am pretty sure you can do it in offline. Anyways just a suggestion, i drop all of my items (soul of undead) until i only have one in my inventory. Then i glitch that one and when i am done I pick up the other ones and repeat. This way you have more chances to perform the glitch.

I think i will use this glitch just to save time which i would otherwise be spending on soul farming in darkroot garden, but im capping my characters at 120. Apparently that kinda the ideal lvl for online play. It sucks tho that some ppl will just use this and go as darkwraiths. Im guessing your level doesn't matter when you invade/get invaded? So can you get a lvl 700 vs a lvl 50?

the only reason i want to do this is to be able to wield the cursed great sword of atorias. i dont have the time to farm for over 30k souls for every level. as long as one doesnt use it for pvp, i think its ok. and it works as long as u want it too.

Do this with smourgh soul, or the souls you got from bosses... worked for me nice, and 10 minutes of waiting, you get tens of millions. Thanks for the video btw :) saved me a lot of days and weeks just for upgrading my sorcerer, to be able to carry the great shield and the heavy weapons...

besides, this glitch doesnt make that much of a difference. Health and stamina still drop like crazy, like the game doesn't recognize your lvl, more like, the bigger the lenght of the healthbar, the bigger the decrease in the lenght when you get hit by a single attack.

Nonsense, it's just that in NG+ everything does so much more damage. Your enemies do not level up with you though they do get stronger every new playthrough.

The soul level is to determine who is eligible to invade/co-op with you.

@PsylentEye I know, I'm not saying they level up with you, i'm saying that leveling up doesn't affect your status like a bunch. for example, at some point your stamina has to go up for like 20 levels or so if you wanna have like +3 endurance. even if you're in let's say 140, enemies could still cut you in half like you're level 60. That's what i like about this game! :D

@fuclcjewtube I'm sorry to say, but i guess not. especially the dragon head stone, which makes the glitch, is hard to find. if you get to blighttown, find a big tree which you can enter with a treasure chest. cut the wall behind it, and then the wall after that too. Then youll end up in great hollow, then all the way down to ash lake. run as hell away from the hydra and youll find the everlasting dragon there. if youll join his covenant youll get the dragon head stone.

@Thug9030 uhm, fieuw that's difficult to say..... you have to find a big tree and go in there.... its kind of make a right around those giants... you meet some worms there, go past them (sometimes the guy from catharina stands there) then you should find the tree, there's a treasure chest in it, open it and hit the wall behind it, another chest. open it and hit the wall again. there's your way into big hollow, followed by ashlake

@D34D1NS1D3 Clothany Ring or Grass Crest Shield, both improve your stamina regeneration and it makes the duping possible over long periods of time. I used this with a elastic band around my controller and woke up with like 500 million souls.

I was a fool and used this glitch halfway through my game, it was stupid really. Now I’ve ended up spoiling the whole game. Even started many new character to play it legit, make pvp builds, etc. but its just not as fun because using the glitch before took all the difficulty and sense of achievement out of the game. Id only recommend using it once your bored of playing it properly and want to f about.

@RedGod21 I got it to work at soul level 17. The hardest part about getting there is Blight T., really. Definitely go after you get the drake sword, grass crest shield, and the crimson set (also in blight town, something you can pick up on the way to getting the dragon head).

@foxvbowser You do have to completely retrace your steps and climb all the way back up the tree. I'm guessing I know where you're stuck - there's a bit after climbing two ladders, and walking up a branch where it seems that you can't get past, even though the bump in front of you is only up to your ankles. Just turn your back to it and do a backstep. You hop backwards over it, and then you're free to carry on up back to Blightown.
