Beautiful poem! Thank you for sharing it with us. Michael Jackson changed my life. Who knows where I'd be right now if I hadn't discovered the magic in his music. I pretend I'm him all the time. For example, whenever I'm at home or work, and I think no one is looking, I'll watch my shadow dance on the wall or see my reflection move in the window, and I become him. It's escapism from reality. It's fun.

You are the third person that told me that. My wife was one. She didn't express as much distaste for it as you did (hahaha) bt nevertheless she said it should be taken down MUCH LOWER. It is Man in the Mirror. And since I look at myself in the mirror everyday (sometimes liking what I see, sometimes not) and it is one of my favorite songs by him...I thought it was appropiate. But, if people keep telling me that it ruins the poem, I will take it out. The words are the most important.
