Yes, these guys are over the hill (not Diana, she is at her peak, and very beautiful if I must say so), but darned if they don't still sound pretty good. Bless them if they can keep playing like this, one of them may have a coronary on stage but I'm sure that if their time is up, that is how they would want to go.

Saw the "Airplane" in 05 and Diana was outstanding. 500 characters is not enough to describe it. The whole band sounded great, but I was disappointed Kantner wasn't there. Guess he didn't want to go to South Dakota! Carry on Diana!

I saw Hot Tuna last night in Somerville, MA for the first time. Now I'm just catching up on the whole Hot Tuna/Jefferson Airplane/Jefferson Starship and the legacy of its members. It's nice to see part of the group sounding and even looking so good. Although I may be partially blinded by the very pretty Ms. Mangano.

rickinbutler: Diana is as beautiful in person as she looks and sounds in this video. I loved Grace Slick, but this girl can sing, and let's face it, she is gorgeous! They have a new lead female singer now, but Diana occasionally plays with them at some gigs, as does Darby Gould, who also has a great voice. Still miss Grace though, and hope she is well. She was the best!

The girl is Diana Mangano-I saw them with her on a boat circling the Hudson in NYC.  Nobody can replace Grace Slick, but this woman has a great voice, is absolutely beautiful, and, as I was able to speak with her and take a picture with her, think she's a genuinely beautiful person. She has since moved on, though she plays with them sometimes. They have a new female, but people come and go and come back, except for Grace, Jorma and Jack. But I fell in love with Diana's voice and beauty!
