I don't think so, this video has the same template as the other one, except that it shows things that change when you fill out a different psychological profile. I assume that the waitress lady is Cybill in this version of the profile, and the chick at the end is another version of Dahlia.

How exactly does this look terrible? Silent Hill, aside from story aspects, is getting stale. The series DOES need a reboot, and even if this game doesn't turn out to be good, it's ideas and gameplay functions are very interesting and could be applied to a completely new IP.

As a huge fan of the first SH game on the Playstation (all the others too including 0rigins), this is what I call franchise rape.

Seriously, what the hell are they thinking! Just make a new game altogether, not a remake if you want to rape the shit out of the original.

I'd just like to know, how is this rape? It's not like this game is taking every copy of the old Silent Hill, stuffing them into a closet and hiding them from the rest of the world. Silent Hill's still there. It's still on the PS1 and the PSN store. And this game is not, and for the LAST time, NOT a remake. It's not trying to tell the same story with current tech. It's taking the base of the story, and goes on it's own from there and it really brings a great concept. The game's watching you...

i would play the others first to get the feel of the genre is you have a ps2 and can find them (3 is my fav so far) but buy this one as soon as it comes out i have played SH 3-5 and some of 2 and i think this one looks as good as those maybe better if they get the feel right.

That's because the game is based upon situations playing themselves out differently based on your actions. This trailer is a different take on the original. Climax is showing of how the Psych profiles will affect characters and events.

Well, I already knew that the game would change depending on the decisions the player takes. I was only complaining because when I see a new trailer, I expect to see something new. What did this trailer show us as a new? Nothing. That´s all I meant, I didn´t eant to offend anyone. Sorry for my bad English, I´m Spanish...

oh nononono. actually. it showed us something very crucial. the lyrics in the song, the way Harry acted towards those people in that house, how Dalia looked, how he was told where he lives by a bar-tender instead of a cop.....it showed how the game can be about something different each time.

if i were to make a hunch. it seems to hint that he was an abusive father in the last trailer. and a negligent father in this one.
