I don't mean to let down my country, but right now China is the only superpower in Asia, India is coming up but a few call centers, bollywood movies, steel exports won't propell the ecomony like that.
We need to focus on Infrastructure which and export and attract FDI investment and get access to better technologies.
This is the way Japan became soo advanced, and China is following the same path. We Indians should do the same.

I always find it amazing when you hear about cities throughout the world that have a bigger population than your own country. Our COUNTRY is approximately 4.2 million. I would get lost in China!
