@pratimanarts r Japanese liaison with the INA, agreed to try to get Bose into Manchuria as the first step to reaching Moscow. The last photo of Netaji alive or dead shows him at Saigon airport on August 17th, 1945. Five days later, on August 23rd, the Japanese News Agency announced the death of Bose
@pratimanarts Bose, whose political acumen was a lot sharper than his military knowledge, realised that the Cold War was the new world war and that Russia could be India's one remaining ally in its fight for freedom. He had already made contact with the Soviet embassy in Tokyo (in November 1944) and on August 16th at a meeting in Bangkok, Major General Isoda Saburo, head of the Hikari Kikan, or Japanese liaison with the INA,
@pratimanarts In May 1945 Slim's 14th Army pushed the Japanese 33rd Army, supported by the INA, out of Burma. For the INA (referred dismissively by the British as 'JIFS' --Japanese Infiltrated Soldiers) it was an ignom rout, exposing Bose's hopeless idealism as a war leader. On August 10th a Russia began its offensive through Manchuria. From the seas and skies the American na air force pounded Japan, culminating with the atomic bombs on August 6th and August 14th Japan surrendered.
@pratimanarts I too was involved in Anna Hazare movement. Published tens of thousand of pamphlets for his Lokpal. And was preparing for Jail Bharo when he withdrew his novement. His team got nervous at crunch.
Kya sach me humlog secular hain? Kya sachme humme patriotism hain? kya sachme humlog sare duniya ke freedom fighters ko samadar karte hain? Agar karte hain to hume yeh janna zaroori hain ke bharat ke swandhinta ke piche sahi kahani kya hain? Aur isiliye Netaji ke sath akhir me kya hua tha aur kya hua tha yeh janna bhi humare liye zaroori hain. Aur yeh hum jan ke rahenge.
Hum log desh ke development ke liye kam, kaunsa political party acha hain wohi zada bolte hain. Sab log apne apne political party ke support me debate shuru kar dete hain. Agar pucha jaye kya kiya tumne is deshke liye to answer hain "kuch nahi, kuch kar bhi nahi sakte kyon ke family hain." Lekin awaz uthane me humlog mahir hain. Kabhi sawal nahi uthta yeh swadhinta hume sach me sahi tarike se mili thi ya nahi? Agar mili hoti to hindu-muslim riot kyon hui jab ke dono sath milke ladai lade the!
Jo log is desh ke liye jaan gawae hain woh ek Indian hain bas. Koi hindu, muslim, sikh, christian, jain...marwari, bengali, dravid, oriya...south Indian, North Indian, East Indian, West Indian...hindustani, pakistani, bangladeshi...ke naam se jana nahi jate the. Woh log Indian the. Pata nahi 1947 me kya hua jo sabhi sabhika dushman ban gaye. India-Pakistan partition! Abhi bhi woh zahar sabhike jism me reh gaya hain. Kaun hain iska zimedar?
Apnehi gharke logoke sath jhagarte hain, Communal riot chahe physically ho ya verbally..hote to rehtehi hain, apnehi logoke sath competition karte hain, underestimate karte hain, hindu hoke muslim ko nahi dekh sakte, muslim hoke hindu ko nahi dekh sakte, North Indian hoke south indian ko nahi dekh sakte or vise versa, Alag state chahiye, alag desh chahiye bolke chillate rehte hain...lekin phirbhi humare desh "SECLAR COUNTRY" hain!!!
Politicians to durki baat hain, log hi nahi sudhrenge...aur woh chale hain corruption ko hatane. Yeh andolon me Anna ji chor ke baki logo ko faida ho raha hain. Khas karke media ko. Abhi agar yeh andolon fail ho gaya to humare desh ke mahan log unko bhi useless bolenge. Acha hain na...koi kuch badalna chahte hain apnehi hausle se aur humlog usika fal lena chahte hain aramse. Debate ke liye bulao to agey badte hain, kam ke liye bulao to bahana dete hain. Lekin phirbhi humlog.."Proud to be Indian"
Family ke log aur dost log bhi kahenge wah kya knowledge hain! Kisi political party se help mile to usiko support karna chahe woh desh ke kam me na aaye tobhi. Apna bhalai ho raha hain na. Time pass ke liye thoda bohut andolon bhi kar sakte ho. Log bhi acha bhala kahenge tumhare bareme. Jo bhi karo apna faida hona chahiye. Yeh Anna ji bhi kamal ke hain. Kuch zada hi emotional ho rahe hain...apne apko hi taqlif de rahe hain.
Yeh soldier log bhi bekar me fight karke apne jaan gawate hain. Kya hain yeh..patriotism..ghanta patriotism! Marke kya faida..koi to puchega bhi nahi. Family to garib hi rahegi na. Isse acha hain business karo, naukri karo aur free time me apna patriotism dikhao youtube me face book me (Jaise main dikha raha hoon). Yeh safe game hain na. Tension nahi. Time pass ke liye topic mil gaya to discussion shuru. Debate karo logo se apne apko knowledgable dikhaneke liye.
Yeh freedom fighter log bekarme apne jaan gaway hain. Gandhi ji ya Nehru ji se thoda advice le lete to ek khush haal zindegi ji pate. Sad ya! Ek taraf se jaan gawate hain upar se apnehi desh ke intellectual logo se gali sunte hain. Zindegi jeene ka ek hi funda hain...dikhao kuch aur, karo kuch aur. Lekin jo karoge woh kisi ko dikhna nahi chahiye...log intellectual hain bhai! Humare desh to mahan hain hi lekin humare desh ke kuch kuch log apne desh se bhi mahan hain!
@pratimanarts We should see things from a larger perspective. Do the Germans worship Hitler. Do the Japanese see their imperialism with pride. No. Both had great military successes during the war..still they accept what their leadership did was wrong.
@pratimanarts Bose was a controversial figure in his lifetime and remains so even now. India's involvement in the war was less and that too was imposed by the british. Bose's support for Nazis and Japanese imperialism is conveniently buried in India. I wanted to highlight that. There are lots of documentaries and enquiry commissions on his disappearance.. People should rather discuss his means and role at that time.
INA was a cause celebre while it should nog have been one. Its political ideology was corrupt to the core. Its military prowess was so limited and borrowed that it failed even in small battles. Those who long for Bose reappearance should know that Messiah never comes. Bose would be too horrific for a Messiah. He had dictatorial leanings and a Nazi sympathiser at helm of Indian affairs would have been too shameful
@pratimanarts dera me, I gather that you believe 1. Bose was most important national leader of freedom movement and Gandhi Nehru combine conspired to curtail his importance for petty party politics. 2. Patel was far better than Nehru as a lerdership model. 3. Being in Nazi vanguard counts little. I disagree completely. Reasons follow
@pratmanarts You have asked if Bose' act was dangerous why he was not banned ? Hard to understand the rationale behind your question. I need to know what kind of 'ban' you are talking about on a dad man.
@rodyatube :) Thank u very much for replying on my comments even if these are idiotic to u. U are the winner of this debate my friend! Be happy! So, Netaji is the loser, useless fellow and was harmful for our country--Proved! Bye:)
@pratimanarts Photo being worshipped along with other Gods in a nagaland village, doesn't prove anything. You can see even politician's portraits in homes.
@pratimanarts commenting on "situation" for which you seek response will be moving away from the main topic. The resemblace you are trying to show is ridiculous. Commenting on that is not required.
NSC Bose is a true son of India. Nehru, Gandhi etc do not deserve to be called "ji" and were failures throughout their lives. The secret lies in the Transfer of Power Agreement signed by Nehru at the behest of the British and those 30 files with the PMO/ Mohammed Yunus.
@pratimanarts The Japanese act of atrocities in Manhuko are well known. They committed some 1 million rapes and used humans as guinea pigs for their "experiments" in their "labs" which the Nazis repeated later on. This is not possible that this was not in Bose's knowledge, still he chosen to support Japanese plans in Asia. It was good he was defeated with the Japanese otherwise he would become reason for another period of slavery in the India's history.
@pratimanarts The axis powers of that time, the Germans, Japanese and Italians don't see their rulers of that time in good light today. Anyone saying "herr hitler" is sent to jail in Germany. India is the only place perhaps where Nazi supporters like Bose are praised.. due to Indian's general ignorance of modern world history.
@rodyatube I will give u one situation, tell me what will u do?
Assume, in ur area there is an infamous gunda called "X" and his gang is very big with political support. U know another gunda called "Y" with same strength and X and Y are rivals to each other that all know. Now, Oneday X misbehaves (may be sexual harrassment or usage of offensive words) with ur mother in front of u. will u...
@pratimanarts If simple logic is followed, answer to the question of Bose's disappearance is easy. After the war every surviving nazi leader or sympathizer's life was difficult they were hanged in nuremberg, captured, served jail terms. Bose declared war with the British and fought alongside the Japanese. At the end of war British still were rulers in India and it wa impossible to him to come and start politics again.. so most convenient was to disappear.
@rodyatube From where have u got the information that Netaji willingly disappeared due to his failure? Is it from any book, documentary, your own notion or u have any evidence with u that u acquired by ur own research.
@rodyatube I already said it is not debate in my previous comment towards Dr. Dev Chauhan-"I don't want to debate with u unnecessarily. I don't have any grievance about u. I was just testing if u know something more about the history". Ok, now my questions are - 1. Did Netaji really disappear because of his failure or He was arrested or kidnapped secretly by someone's instruction? 2. Was Nehru ji really eager to see our country independent out of his patriotism or to grab the power?
@rodyatube Why Did Nehru ji become congress president when Sardar Patel ji got maximum number of votes? If there would not be any harm to any political party, why can't we get to know about the truth of Neta ji's disappearnce? If he was really coward and disappeared due to his failure, we would not adore him, but that would be the usp for certain political party...then...why was the story not allowed to be released by the Govt? Why was Satyajit Ray's most awaited film "Sikim" banned?
@rodyatube Why did Mahatma Gandhi ji use to support Nehru ji more than Sardar Patel ji? Mahatma Gandhi ji said he did not want India-Pak partition. He is the father of nation...everybody used to abide by his opinion..what exactly happened that his opinion or unwillingness about the partition was disobeyed by them who had very good relationship with Gandhi ji? Why did the riot take place when hidus and muslims together fought for India's independence?
@rodyatube Was Gandhi ji very good leader or politician and why? Why did Nirad C. Chaudhuri use to tremendously hate the Govt? If Netaji's step was really offensive and threat for our nation, why is he not banned by the Govt. so far?
@rodyatube My friend's dad was an Income Tax officer. Oneday, he went to a hut in a small village of Nagaland for some purpose in the year around 1960 or 65. He saw Netaji's photo in that hut and it was being worshipped with other Gods' photos. The senior member of the family was a soldier of Azad Hinf Fauj.
@rodyatube If Netaji was really useless, that could also be visible by his soldiers first because they should understand the wrong decision by Netaji caused sacrifices many of their colleagues' lives. Then, y did the soldier has much respect towards Netaji?
@devchauhan01 Hello Dr. Chauhan, This is a nice conversation with you.:) You said bits of information is not knowledge. Did u really understand from my previous comments that I wanted to represent my knowledge or I tried to compete with ur knowledge? I did not compete with ur knowledge. I just asked a simple but very important question...What is the true story of India's Independence? This is not only my right to know, but also similar right of any illiterate person in our country.
@devchauhan01 Sometime, some doubtful small information works to discover a big secret.:) If u could tell me the story with proof with your proper research, I could understand the "bits information" I have is not really important to think about.
@pratimanarts as for Gandhi (he deserves a "ji" suffixed to his name), he was universally acknowledged leader of Indian independence movement. Many called him cunning or opportunist or even a feigning "mahatma" yet all, except diehard communalists (both Hindu and Muslim), recognised his aura. Subhash was no more than a trifle before phenomenon of M. K. Gandhi
@devchauhan01 I think I already mentioned "So, according to u, Pt. Nehru ji and Mahatma Gandhi ji...". Read my previous comment..the "Ji" is already there. Well, it's not about supporting or not supporting a leader or freedom fighter, it's about fact. Do you know any fact retrieved by your own research? I can refer many books or documentaries representing Gandhi ji and Nehruji as culprits and again they are true national heroes as per many books or documentaries.
@devchauhan01 So, how to believe which one is true story? Why is the ashes of Netaji's corpse not permitted for DNA test when it was requested by many people to the Govt? Why did the Japanese doctor withdraw his statement at his older age that the corpse, recognised by him, was not Netaji's corpse? Why did the Govt. not take any action when Netaji was identified by Vijay Laxmi Pandit and Svetlana (Stalin's daughter) after independence?
@devchauhan01 There are many questions like these for what u will not get any answer in any book or documentary. We just know what we have been informed or taught in schools, colleges or universities. I can affirmly say that most of the Indians don't know much about the true story of India's Independence, but we want to know the true story of our country's independence and this is our right!!!
@devchauhan01 My friend, I am not talking anything against ur belief, but yes howmuchever u know that is not enough to answer my question. Even I know all those whatever u mentioned. I must say that is also not possible because u don't have time to research on this. My question is not only towards u, but also towards all the Indians. We should know everything with proof. I am quite sure if the truth reveals, that will be the biggest news about Indian History!!!
@devchauhan01 I don't want to debate with u unnecessarily. I don't have any grievance about u. I was just testing if u know something more about the history. Even if I would be a criminal, my mom would not leave me alone..she would still pray to God wishing my wellbeing, but the fact would be the criminal should be punished and there no emotion works. I think u understood what I meant to say!
@pratimanarts dear me, your question seems more mischief than ignorance, yet I am bound to answer. Gandhi led noncooperation (1920), civil disobedience(1930), and Quit India (1942). Subhash was in vanguard of congress socialists alongwith Nehru, defeated Pattabhi in presidential election, quitted congress, created forward bloc, ot imprisoned alongwith other national leaders, absconded, went to Germany and Japan, led INA military movement to lift foreign yoke from heart of motherland.
@pratimanarts ......in league with Gandhi. RSS would beat Congress with any stick it could find. It tried that stick in Subhash and Patel though both had secular outlook. In heeping sarcasm on rodyatube, you show lack of maturity about which you complain for gjpjtpj.......
@devchauhan01 "In heeping sarcasm on rodyatube, you show lack of maturity about which you complain for gjpjtpj"--that may be sarcasm or may not be, but what matters is renaissance. If u are talking about maturity, I must say we can't really define maturity as it varies with different perceptions. Well, this is not the topic of our discussion. Anyways, welcome to the league! League of Indian Youth!
@devchauhan01 So, according to u, Pt. Nehru ji and Mahatma Gandhi ji were bigger figures than Netaji in India's independent movement. That's great! I would like to know something more about their contributions towards India's Independence. Did we get independence due to their cordial patriotic movement or their political compromise with British govt? It is not "sarcasm", just a question.:)
@pratimanarts dear me, Subhash was simply a far smaller figure in India s independent movement than Nehru or Gandhi. His role in world history is virtually non existent. It was later RSS propaganda that made him look great in lea
Subhash was an unwavering patriot of highest order and no one doubts that. His means are questioned not because end but due to flawed logic of which he was only partially responsible, for, that was not an information age where everyone knew every govt s viewpoint. His INA was a puppet army in Japanese hands but during Redfort trial its image transformed it into a moral force of considerable strength leading also to RIN mutiny so, in a way, Subhash dead was more powerful than when alive
And he had burnt all bridges. Imphal campaign was a telling failure, poorly armed Azad Hind Fauj failed to get aerial support in monsoon (poor military strategy ! ). As British India braced for Japanese attack and refused to budge (vast India was not Singapore, its conquest and retaining would have cost too much resources for Japanese in manpower
But by that time Japan was a military superpower in Asian theatre of war and Japs were too cunning not to confess to Subhash their true ideas about future of India. An attack on British India with Indian leader "seeming" to lead it was o.k. with Japanese. By the time Subhash came to fully understand the real position of his miniscule army as a puppet imperial aid, it was too late as things were happening too fast and he had bu
For purely patriotic reasons (not leaders). Then there was no place for him in vast British empire. German f.m. Ribbentrop told him about Fuhrer s hellish idea of India remaining slave country for another 150 years. Germans too found it handy to have an enemy s enemy and sent him to Japan. Japanese were worse as an imperialist power (and Subhash should have known this as their treatment of Manchuria was widely condemned )
It eas not a bad idea to take help from " enemy s enemy But he erred in not checking the credentials of potential new friends. Often text books are written to oversimplify very complex historical events. While in British jail, he chose to be free for purely patriotic leaders
Subhash was the only Indian leader who showed military spirit against British imperialism after 1857. He could not have known about Nazi brutalities in 1939 and during imprisonment, for, that was closely guarded secret and not on so vast a scale as in later years
@gjpjtpjtpkmtgjumpjat Come on man! Pls try to give respect others. If somebody is saying something opposite ur opinion or knowledge, it does not mean u should misbehave with that person. That's y debate happens to get the ultimate truth. There are many unknown things in history. This is our responsibility to know that because we are representing Indian youth. gjpjtpjtpkmtgjumpjat, if u have any information about him, pls share with us.
@pratimanarts You mentioned Bose could not beg the British and that he was right in taking help from axis. But did he achieve anything substantial ? The independence was won by a long, arduous and glorious struggle.
@rodyatube Mate, There are lot of things that u need to know about Indian independence. If u are talking about glorious struggle, Netaji's contribution can not be ignored. He was not glorified unnecessarily. If he is unnecessarily glorified, I have to say there were some contemporary leaders or politicians who were also unnecessarily glorified. I don't want to utter their names now until unless I am getting a complete picture of Indian independence.
@rodyatube Taking a decision and step in the field to implement it is not an ignorable matter. We can just think and can say, but what about action. If Anna Hazare is not able to succeed to get Lokpal bill, it does not mean he is a disaster. His patriotism and principle force him to do something for the nation. He could execute normal life style like others, but he thought to change our nation to some extent and he already stepped in. His failure can not be a disaster.
@rodyatube Likewise, Netaji could also execute a brilliant life style. He had passed ICS exam with 4th rank, but he had dedicated his life towards a goal to liberate our nation from british rule. U said INA surrendered themselves. Why and how...I will tell u tonight after coming back from my office.:) But keep on igniting the fire in u. U may be the great help for our nation.:) catch u later.
@rody just shoot out japanese and other fucking european people..r u knw ''great acharya chanakya'?.if u knw this, then and then u knw ultimate politics and art of war with low power
@pratimanarts you wrote moirang freedom is important and it served INA HQ in coming "years". How many years. Moirang incident happened in 1944 and few months later Japs and INA surrendered and Bose disappeared.
@pratimanarts Only achievement you mentioned was flag hoisting at moirang and that too with japs. Sacrifice and valour of Indian forces fighting the Japs is well known.
whatever other says we don't care but now a days economy growing at fastest rate so why we hv to fall in matter.it's true history and it never repeate in future.
@pratimanarts Idea of liberating motherland with help of nazis and japs itself shows the hollowness of whole excercise. Do you think a puppet leadership and puppet army could lead to independence. No it would be continuation of a dark period of slavery. The idea of liberating India with help of Japs without their further intervention is utopian at best. Again learn about Japanese treatment of conquered asian territories.
@pratimanarts These are not only my thoughts. You can refer any independent and unbiased resource on modern Indian history. You obviously are surprised because what I wrote is against common belief about Bose. But again that is just a belief.
@evetide . Are you aware that Indian prisoners were used by the Japanese soldiers as practice targets and Bose ignored this. Go and do some study before repeating some propaganda here.
@rodyatube Hey mate, thank u very much for sharing the story with us.:) I think u are completely angry about the fact what Netaji did. What is ur view about the independence we got? I am an uneducated Indian who wants to know the fact of India's independence. Please share...we want to know the fact from u. U are such a brilliant guy...why are u hiding ur knowledge? I am not showing my anger, but I am surprised to see ur own vision about Netaji. It means u have ur own thought and this is good!
@rodyatube But only thought is not enough! U should implement it. Do something for our nation...there are many things to change. Go ahead and do it. I could also take the risk but I am an uneducated guy...don't know what to do. I can surmise some issues are there in our country. We want a leader like u who has a proper knowledge what should be done and how it should be done. We want complete development of our country. Pls do it...we want to see a bright future of our nation. pls...
@rodyatube ...Well “Use or Abuse” is not the question, he and his comrades freed Moirang that is located 45 KM from Imphal, capital of current Manipur and that matters the most.Moirang’s independence is important as it came way before 1947. It served as HQ for INA in coming years. Moreover one had to take the help of the enemy’s enemy, as he could not beg for English mercy.INA has already glorified itself; it is a known fact.
@rodyatube ...By the way...FYI...."Propaganda" = " is a form of communication that is aimed at influencing the attitude of a community toward some cause or position so as to benefit oneself or one's group." Start reading Facts.
@evetide You asked about "any information" with me. It is all in open that Bose took active support from the Japanese and the Nazis and led the INA into humiliating defeat, following his foolish plan of getting India's independence by support of sinister foreign powers. That is why I said he was a disaster. He was just a Japanese puppet unnecessarily glorified. I understand your anger, but you could do some study about Bose's political views before venting your anger here. Are you aware that Ind
@rodyatube..Every politician and every leadership has its own set of propaganda.Just to refresh your memory, Churchill, Roosovelt, Stalin, Gen.Montgomery, Gen.Patton, Gen.Omar Bradely were not patron saints, they were politicians, military strategist, leaders of their individual nations and political thinkers and to be that you need propaganda, whether you like it or not.
@rodyatube....Hence taking Axis help in liberating our motherland should not be questioned or doubted as the Imperialists/Colonialist were “English” for the Indians at time ,not the Germans or the Japanese.
@chandankochher2003 I know it may be hard to digest for some people that INA was defeated, wad humiliated by Japanese themselves and Bose was a nazi supporter and you know what happened to people who losst the ww2. Hitler was also patriot, commited suicide. Musuloni was another patriot, was hung by his own people. Bose likewise a misguided patriot, people are taking great pain to discover him ...may have died in some rusdian camp.
@rodyatube Hey mate, why are u saying netaji was a big disaster? Oh, I am sorry...Bose was a big disaster? Is there any information about him with u? U said he did not have any contribution towards this country. Who had greatest contribution towards our country and why according 2 u? And what are u doing for our country? I think u love ur country very much and that's y u should have some plan for our nation. Pls share with us so that we can also assist u.:)
The Nazis and the Japanese were extremes of racism.. Indians were subhuman in their opinian. Bose, The Nazis and the Japs were just opportunists in shaking hands...and all were defeated.
A nazi supporter ... took to fighting the british and defeated convincingly..I think people should know and do some research on how the Japs behaved with INA soldiers, and what was hitler's and Japan's view for India ..if they win the war.. Independence ... No way..
i believe netaji would had a great threat to his life and there could the accident was a plot planned by Netaji and disguise in faizabad as baba.He was active in directing INA during his life and giving the best of support to indian nation. He would thought his exposure make more controversy about the doing and people may fume with stories
@mail2shail2008 If your story of threat to Bose's life and his hiding thereafter is to be believed what image of Bose appears out of this ? His exposure would surely sent him Jail as he was a declared enemies of Allies and supporter of Japanese.
This is the most eye opening video where so many eminent Indians have expressed their views about Netaji's disappearance. Why the deaf Indian Govt. is hiding the real truth about Netaji so that it can protect the real villians who ruled the post inpendent India?
Churchill's view was that the British like the pale skinned Mughals had become rightful rulers of India. On this issue Hitler surprisingly agreed and argued that the Raj was necessary to rule this vast swathe of humanity and preserve the great Hindu/Islamic civilisation. The Japanese had other views and thought they could become the new ruling caste of this servant race with Bose's quisling assistance. They were humiliatingly defeated. But who next will rule this human pile? My guess- China!

Time pass ke liye thoda bohut andolon bhi kar sakte ho. Log bhi acha bhala kahenge tumhare bareme. Jo bhi karo apna faida hona chahiye. Yeh Anna ji bhi kamal ke hain. Kuch zada hi emotional ho rahe hain...apne apko hi taqlif de rahe hain.

@pratimanarts We should see things from a larger perspective. Do the Germans worship Hitler. Do the Japanese see their imperialism with pride. No. Both had great military successes during the war..still they accept what their leadership did was wrong.
rodyatube 1 month ago
@pratimanarts Bose was a controversial figure in his lifetime and remains so even now. India's involvement in the war was less and that too was imposed by the british. Bose's support for Nazis and Japanese imperialism is conveniently buried in India. I wanted to highlight that. There are lots of documentaries and enquiry commissions on his disappearance.. People should rather discuss his means and role at that time.

@pratimanarts dear don't feel hurt. No one is loser or winner here.

INA was a cause celebre while it should nog have been one. Its political ideology was corrupt to the core. Its military prowess was so limited and borrowed that it failed even in small battles. Those who long for Bose reappearance should know that Messiah never comes. Bose would be too horrific for a Messiah. He had dictatorial leanings and a Nazi sympathiser at helm of Indian affairs would have been too shameful
devchauhan01 1 month ago
1. Role of Bose is already inflated in such discussions due to his perceived military role. INA was a "causus celebre"
devchauhan01 1 month ago
@pratimanarts dera me, I gather that you believe 1. Bose was most important national leader of freedom movement and Gandhi Nehru combine conspired to curtail his importance for petty party politics. 2. Patel was far better than Nehru as a lerdership model. 3. Being in Nazi vanguard counts little. I disagree completely. Reasons follow

NSC Bose is a true son of India. Nehru, Gandhi etc do not deserve to be called "ji" and were failures throughout their lives. The secret lies in the Transfer of Power Agreement signed by Nehru at the behest of the British and those 30 files with the PMO/ Mohammed Yunus.
seadog4227 1 month ago
@pratimanarts The Japanese act of atrocities in Manhuko are well known. They committed some 1 million rapes and used humans as guinea pigs for their "experiments" in their "labs" which the Nazis repeated later on. This is not possible that this was not in Bose's knowledge, still he chosen to support Japanese plans in Asia. It was good he was defeated with the Japanese otherwise he would become reason for another period of slavery in the India's history.
rodyatube 1 month ago
@pratimanarts The axis powers of that time, the Germans, Japanese and Italians don't see their rulers of that time in good light today. Anyone saying "herr hitler" is sent to jail in Germany. India is the only place perhaps where Nazi supporters like Bose are praised.. due to Indian's general ignorance of modern world history.

3. Keep quiet as he is dangerous

2. Was Nehru ji really eager to see our country independent out of his patriotism or to grab the power?
pratimanarts 1 month ago

@rodyatube My friend's dad was an Income Tax officer. Oneday, he went to a hut in a small village of Nagaland for some purpose in the year around 1960 or 65. K. Gandhi
devchauhan01 1 month ago
@devchauhan01 I think I already mentioned "So, according to u, Pt. Nehru ji and Mahatma Gandhi ji...". Read my previous comment..the "Ji" is already there. Well, it's not about supporting or not supporting a leader or freedom fighter, it's about fact. Do you know any fact retrieved by your own research? I can refer many books or documentaries representing Gandhi ji and Nehruji as culprits and again they are true national heroes as per many books or documentaries.
pratimanarts 1 month ago
@devchauhan01 So, how to believe which one is true story? Why is the ashes of Netaji's corpse not permitted for DNA test when it was requested by many people to the Govt? Why did the Japanese doctor withdraw his statement at his older age that the corpse, recognised by him, was not Netaji's corpse? Why did the Govt. not take any action when Netaji was identified by Vijay Laxmi Pandit and Svetlana (Stalin's daughter) after independence?
pratimanarts 1 month ago

I think u understood what I meant to say!
pratimanarts 1 month ago
@pratimanarts dear me, your question seems more mischief than ignorance, yet I am bound to answer. Gandhi led noncooperation (1920), civil disobedience(1930), and Quit India (1942). Subhash was in vanguard of congress socialists alongwith Nehru, defeated Pattabhi in presidential election, quitted congress, created forward bloc, ot imprisoned alongwith other national leaders, absconded, went to Germany and Japan, led INA military movement to lift foreign yoke from heart of motherland.

@devchauhan01 So, according to u, Pt. Nehru ji and Mahatma Gandhi ji were bigger figures than Netaji in India's independent movement. That's great! @pratimanarts dear me, Subhash was simply a far smaller figure in India s independent movement than Nehru or Gandhi. His role in world history is virtually non existent. It was later RSS propaganda that made him look great in lea
devchauhan01 1 month ago
Subhash was an unwavering patriot of highest order and no one doubts that. His means are questioned not because end but due to flawed logic of which he was only partially responsible, for, that was not an information age where everyone knew every govt s viewpoint. His INA was a puppet army in Japanese hands but during Redfort trial its image transformed it into a moral force of considerable strength leading also to RIN mutiny so, in a way, Subhash dead was more powerful than when alive
devchauhan01 1 month ago
And he had burnt all bridges. Imphal campaign was a telling failure, poorly armed Azad Hind Fauj failed to get aerial support in monsoon (poor military strategy ! ). But by that time Japan was a military superpower in Asian theatre of war and Japs were too cunning not to confess to Subhash their true ideas about future of India. By the time Subhash came to fully understand the real position of his miniscule army as a puppet imperial aid, it was too late as things were happening too fast and he had bu
devchauhan01 1 month ago
For purely patriotic reasons (not leaders). Then there was no place for him in vast British empire. German f.m. Ribbentrop told him about Fuhrer s hellish idea of India remaining slave country for another 150 years. Germans too found it handy to have an enemy s enemy and sent him to Japan. Japanese were worse as an imperialist power (and Subhash should have known this as their treatment of Manchuria was widely condemned )
devchauhan01 1 month ago
It eas not a bad idea to take help from " enemy s enemy But he erred in not checking the credentials of potential new friends. Often text books are written to oversimplify very complex historical events. While in British jail, he chose to be free for purely patriotic leaders

Subhash was the only Indian leader who showed military spirit against British imperialism after 1857. He could not have known about Nazi brutalities in 1939 and during imprisonment, for, that was closely guarded secret and not on so vast a scale as in later years

I don't want to utter their names now until unless I am getting a complete picture of Indian independence.
pratimanarts 1 month ago
@rodyatube Taking a decision and step in the field to implement it is not an ignorable matter. We can just think and can say, but what about action. If Anna Hazare is not able to succeed to get Lokpal bill, it does not mean he is a disaster. His patriotism and principle force him to do something for the nation. He could execute normal life style like others, but he thought to change our nation to some extent and he already stepped in. His failure can not be a disaster.
pratimanarts 1 month ago
@rodyatube Likewise, Netaji could also execute a brilliant life style. He had passed ICS exam with 4th rank, but he had dedicated his life towards a goal to liberate our nation from british rule. @pratimanarts Idea of liberating motherland with help of nazis and japs itself shows the hollowness of whole excercise. Do you think a puppet leadership and puppet army could lead to independence. Again learn about Japanese treatment of conquered asian territories.

@rodyatube ...Well “Use or Abuse” is not the question, he and his comrades freed Moirang that is located 45 KM from Imphal, capital of current Manipur and that matters the most.Moirang’s independence is important as it came way before 1947.
