It took me about 10 minutes to make the head (there is no body). It must have taken me a couple of hours to take about 800 photographs, since there is no background and very little movement. Then I did some post processing, cropping and such, which must have been a couple of hours as well. But most of the time was spent finding the song, editing it down to 30 seconds and mixing it to the video. That took about 4 hours. Total was about 8 to 10 hours.
i wish you lived next door--i'd love to watch you do stop action animation. the little bit i've done makes me reallllllly appreciate how much work it is. at the same time, it is really rewarding.

One day when I've got time, I might make a video of me making a stop motion thingy. (The advantage is that you can fast forward through it!)
