I understand why some POZs pose as NGs; everyone wants to be accepted and acknowledged by their “self-identified” peer group, but one must find a balance between their own insecurities and their place in their world; however, deception is never a panacea. There’s still no guarantee that I won’t be infected, and I treat everyone with respect and dignity regardless of their status, but I do treat everyone as if they are POZ, and act accordingly – reduces the anxiety immensely, and I believe it encourages candor and honesty. Everyone wants to be appreciated for who they are, not judged for what they have.

I was actually going to suggest school ... man you are YOUNG........ you better take your butt back to school..... and you can get all the money you need ...... Pell Grant, State grants, and loans. You can pay for school without even taking a loan. Also.... You can be classified independent so you can get even MORE. You better get with the program. I am the school king.
I agree with you honesty is honorable. I also think ppl mistake sex and dating. I dont have sex with 99 % of the people I date. Isnt dating supposed to see if youre compatible so you can get to that point? I have never dated a person POZ that I know of. Probably have dated some. I also dont run from a persons profile if they happen to be poz. Are they no longer a person because of that? Do they not have any worth? I think they do. Believe it or not, man of them are pretty cool. Imagine that?

@dgprincess23 No, it's not illegal unless you are knowingly engaging in high risk, unprotected sexual activity maliciously to purposely infect others. It's EACH person's responsibility to protect themselves. So if you sleep with someone and they don't tell you their status they are deceptive but you share blame. Unless they rape u, you had a choice... The best thing to do is assume everyone is positive. And protect U. When you sleep with someone ask yourself do you know all you need too?
@Mongo76 PS. this is from someone who is HIV NEG, Celibate. Hey it works for me. It takes a special type of discipline to do so. I am not a virgin however so i know about what happens in dating. I had a cousin who was str8 who just died if AIDS. He got it in prison(rape) came out ANGRY and said he would give it to everyone he could. He had child after child abt 12 we know about by woman after woman. I despise ppl like that. So I knw ppl like that exist firsthand which is Y i dont trust no 1.
You's preaching!!!!!! Stigma is the thing that is killing the black community, we can't open up without someone judging us. I'm so glad you spoke on this fact. I leave my status blank and make people read between the lines. And when I talk to someone I hold a convo with them 4 or 5 times to see where they at emotionally and maturity wise. I mean these people out here acting crazy.

I think because of the ability to maintain hiv, people are treating it less serious.. but it still has the stigma.. so no one talks about it or admit it... big ups to you dude...
I have always been right up front with people who I am interested in about my poz status, hell I'm not in the closet about it anyways. But this inside discrimination is just wrong. Disclosing our status is always scary, but those who are worth our time and energy need to know the real deal. Thankfully I have chosen the right partners, ones who see me as a person not a disease. Great Video and I agree with everything you stated....I have told people who I know are poz.If I find out they are not telling people I will turn their ass in...I have been poz almost 6 years, and I tell upfront.I could never see myself not telling someone my status before I get involved with them.
