It wasnt that bad of a show really. And I know it was popular enough and must of cost nxt to nothing to make, why sky got rid of it i dont know. I know the 2 presenters were abit to obviously put in to have the whole down with the kids "oh my days" but ive seen worse and it might of got better if given some time. What does sky 1 have now? nothing thats what.
The internet. When broadband really took off it really wasn't cost effective to be making any kind of games TV programme and they all just sort of disappeared over the course of a couple of years. A lot of magazines went the same way eventually.
I remember watching that as a kid. Can't believe it was that long ago and that I remembered a lot of these. I even managed to finish the line "...I'd stick to the webslinger"!
Back then, I didn't have a flatscreen! I was in Primary, no mobile phone, no iPod! I don't even think I had broadband back then!
@severedlegs Agreed - all these programmes ever seem to feature are PS3 and Xbox 360 first person shooters, which is fine if you're a big Call of Duty fan, but pretty dull for those who like a bit of variety in their games. Gamezville had a much wider focus, taking in the PS2, Xbox, GameCube, PC and even some flash games, mobile phone games and retro games as well. The presentation of the programme wasn't brilliant, but it was enjoyable enough viewing and doesn't deserve such harsh criticism.
@csonicp to be fair, the original xbox, gamecube and ps2 were the main consoles at that point but i do know what your saying with the flash games and mobile games
I know that this programme doesn't seem to be well-liked at all by the gaming community, but I actually found it very enjoyable to watch during a Saturday lunchtime. It was quite varied with regards to the games and consoles covered and was a regular programme on the topic of video games, which was (and still is) a rarity in itself. The Guru was funny at times as well - I love how he highlights the utter pointlessness of 'everything in the game complete' cheats here! :-D
@Youngie1337 Sorry, that's about all I've found on my old VHS tapes. If I find more I'll upload it but it'll probably just be more Guru clips rather than full episodes. I'm hoping someone else can find and upload some episodes one day.
@GamezvilleGuru Okay fair enough, thank you for the reply. A good source might be to message Sky1 via their website and ask for uploads of the TV show. They're normally very quick to reply and with sufficient information.
Best programme ever thanks for uploading it mate. I wish they make this program again especially with all the development and technology now. I also use to love the one on one beat em up games on this show.
lol same here, I remember I used to worry about missing it in the afternoons at 4pm when I would be in secondary school, jesus I just finished my Leaving cert!, It seems every gaming show on sky gets cancelled, I even remember hearing the crushing news that Pokemon:Colloseum would not be coming to ps2, lol!

I remember this! I was 11 or 12 at the time.
I remember him reading out cheats for 007 Nightfire on PS2 and thinking "I have that game!" and finally being able to play all the levels.
