  • Ha, here we are 5 years later and well over a majority oppose these cameras, yet they are still putting up more..Stupid Americans who can't think for themselves still think the government represents us....

The role of the police is not to serve and protect the people. It is to serve and protect the system that rules over the people

  • Why not just buy the cameras outright then there is no contract

  • I would suggest that dash cam and the black box camera are the most reliable tools to fight malfunctioned red light camera. as a police officer, you should review the footage 1st before issue the traffic fine and then make decision, any faulty traffic fines should be scrapped before the innocence challenge it and issue the correct one

  • even those are apt for abuse...

  • Erm in most countries amber light = STOP if safe to do so. Surely this is the same in the states

  • @garry1004 Amber light in the US means proceed with caution

  • cameras rule! the blockers are illegal you filthy anarchist! yer only worried cos yer a lawbreaker!

  • Why not keep the RED LIGHT on longer in both directions till boths side stop then switch to green. Depending on the side that has to go next....This in turn stops all traffic before any other car can proceed....Now this is done to save lives and bad accidents. Or is this too simple to carry out.......?

  • I have not seen a signal without an all-red phase in years. Interestingly enough, an all-red phase does nothing because drivers simply run reds knowing that they'll be fine. This happens a LOT in cities like Las Vegas. The all-red interval is several seconds over there and people still get into accidents.

  • @Domedoes that will make the city loose money because of not as much tickets

  • just like setting speed limits low, red light cameras are designed to make money. Safety is alwayes cited but we know that is pure bullshit.

  • Why haven't the people of the state tried to get this voted out or at least changed to better and more fair setup??

I think I'll just move to Texas. :)

  • This country completely disgusts me. The level of mental illness is staggering. This is NOT the America my father died defending in WW2.

    Sick, sick people.

  • why cuz of cameras? or camera deflection spray?

  • Because people would rather make money than save lives. Times are tough I suppose.

  • @gruven13777 dude, red light cameras are there to enforce the law. How is that a mental illness?!

  • @bokkey45 This video just flew way over your head lmao. I agree with gruven13777

  • @thementalpatient2005 uh...if this country makes you sick, you shouldn't live here

  • @bokkey45 No, I think you should stick around and fight to get this country back to the way it was. The Good Ole USA that my kinfolks fought and died for!!!

  • @maverickdallas100 k you guys are right sorry

  • @bokkey45 This stuff to deprive us of our freedoms and invade our privacy is the product of so-called liberalism. Today's brand of liberalism is nothing short of mental illness!!!

  • @gruven13777 Amen, amen & amen!!!

  • bull shit ! i recall i was driving once the light changed to yellow i slammed on the brakes and stopped right in the middle of the intersection so i had to run the red to get out of the intersection

  • You know what would end those cameras real quick! A huge billboard that says call this lawyer if you just got rear-ended because of this red light camera!!! Let the savage lawyers have at the city!!! lmao

  • Goes to show folks, Look out when you go to sign CONTRACTS!!

  • It the only solution that the city has to make more, money. I absolutely think that this is a conspiracy. They can rig those light to have different timings, longer yellow lights shorter yellow lights. In the long run citizens end up losing, while the camera manufacturer and the city are all making the money!

  • Holy shit $72??? In SC its $380 for not stopping behind the white line!

  • Yup...got one in the mail today...380 bucks...it sucks! i was sure i took a yellow though...

  • This is total money making scheme.

Winnipeg people have been fighting them.

2 years after they got installed, tickets went down, so they installed MORE of them because the revenue was going down. Winnipeggers were pretty upset to say the least.

  • @whytrustanyone winnipeggers are commies!

  • In New York City they tried putting them up on street corners to catch drug deals and other crimes.

You can imagine how quickly the residents tore them down and destroyed them.

  • I didn't hear about New York getting camera's tore down? Did that make it into any of the news? Where?

  • And what does that have to do with red light camera's. Surv. is a completely different issue.

  • Traffic cameras to catch drug dealers on street corners? Absolute rubbish. What would trigger the camera to record a still image - a large felt hat and flares from the seventies?

You are getting confused with CCTV.

  • The people in Mexico steal the cameras.

  • @Olexin damn mexicunts!

  • Hardly anyone goes through red in the UK, and we have a clearing phase for the traffic lights that change anyway, so it's never really a problem. Good points raised though.

  • The people in Holland destroy traffic cameras.
