yamahas are crap they lack power leak oil have carb problems and also the gear vchange is crunchy ive owned a 4 hp, 9.9 hp and a 30 hp and the only one that was ok was the 9.9 plus the dealers are not very helpful i have looked after all of these motors and cannot see any reason for these complications ask most boat owners on you tube and also look at vidieos with yams in them and i can almost confirm there will be bad comments by them.
this was the first run of the motor, so there were no reason to get full speed before running-in.

a 100 hp yam only produces like 75 hp really not so with mercury
