I haven´t read the comics yet. I´ve only seen the movie and footage of the game, and i ordered the comics over the internet. But I think I can already say that NegaScott is one of my favourite characters.

Good review. You know, I hadn't watched the movie when I read the books, but I had played the game, so I thought there would be a lot of battles, but it's truly mostly about the character's relationships, which is a good thing really, it's done really well. That said, I just finished reading all the books for the first time (all at once) yesterday, and for some reason, I feel kinda down. Like something really awesome just happened, but you didn't have enough time to enjoy it.

@shenmuemasta I bought the first two books last week (I saw the movie first and it blew my fucking mind), they were awesome, I read them with lightning speed in just an hour or 2 'cause I was so hooked to it and now I want more. I felt down/depressed as well, because it only has 6 volumes and Scott Pilgrim is such an awesome character that the majority of us can relate too, as well as a great series, I really didn't want it to end. I'm gonna start saving up for the other 4 volumes!

Agreed about the characters looking too similar... at times anyway. Young Neil especially, because he looks almost exactly like Scott. lol Granted, O'Malley purposely intended for them to look a lot alike. Regardless though, there still was other instances were I'd mix up characters. Especially in volume 5 when Ramona grows her hair long. She no longer looked like "Ramona" to me. XD lol

When I first saw the movie trailer, I had never heard of Scott Pilgrim beforehand, and I thought it looked like No More Heroes. Then a few months later I was at Barnes & Noble with some friends, and I spent like an hour just reading through the first volume of the Scott Pilgrim books. Right now I really feel like checking out the entire series, so I'm planning on working my way through the books soon :)

Eh... I really couldn't get into these. I wanted to, I really did, but it just didn't feel right. It's not bad at all, it's just not for me. I'm seeing the movie based solely on my love of Edgar Wright's movies, but I don't think I'll ever try the books again. You gonna review the XBLA/PSN game, Craig? It looks really, really good.
