  • I think that pa amplifiers work better at home than car amplifier with psu.....

  • I got a 1001BD Amp, I Have it hooked up to a PSU that outputs 15.5v=72A!! People not liking the beats few doors down.

  • Oh you bastard!!! J/K...Am I tied for excursion? I'm not having that!!! I'm pulling out my other new woofer and getting my spot back!!! Somebitch...

NICE excursion for a loaded cone though. Seriously! It's in a vented box right?

  • lol its in a 2 cubic feet L ported box 30hz. I am positive i am not getting over 300 Watts because my power supply is only 32A 12v output meaning ~ 320watts is the limit

  • Oh shit! 300 is right on the money I'd bet. Props for your proper math, no one seems to know what the fuck...

How does the power supply hang in there? Does it pump MAD heat when your pounding on it for a while?

  • for some reason this specific power supply never shuts off lol, but it gets to the point where it aint getting any louder so im sure that at that point its starting to clip my sub. my amp gets a bit warm, but not any warmer than your forehead lol, but my psu stays cold

  • lmao be careful, my 400w winpower PSU exploded when I

  • whoops, it exploded when I ran a 7hz tone to my sub for like 3 mins the psu just went bam! now i have a 750w 60A PSU which gives me 530watt rms.

  • those low hz gives out a lot of vdrop thats why

  • yeah they do but that PSU was pushed much further then its phsyical limits, (18A, I was pushing around 24A out of it) heated up the components, and bam it went. This wouldnt have had happened if it actually had overpower protection lol. I just love my new PSU, 530Watt rms is insane... but I got a crap sub atm.

  • a type r can handle 1000 watts of clean power no problem

  • allright that's what i was thinking ill just use my bd1000 haha give 500 watts to each sub that should make them hit hard

  • soo my brother want's 2 get to 10inch type rs and i can i run 2 of them off a 500 watt alpine amp bridged down to 2 ohms and run 250 to each sub? or would that fry the voice coils and the amp?? i dont know alpine that well i know kicker better but yeah just thought i would see

  • not enough power..at least 400 watts per sub

  • what kind of amp man? looks too loud...

  • lol dam

  • WOW that makes me wanna get rid of my mrp-m500 for a pdx 1.100 XD

  • u can easily give a type R 600 watts without hurting them

  • what about 800?

  • I'd be interested to know this as i've bought one with an MRP-M850, which is 500w RMS @ 4 ohms and 800w RMS @ 2 ohms, and im not sure if teh sub is a dual 2 or a dual 4!

  • He's right on the money. 650 watts TRUE RMS or CEA certified watts and they cannot hang! I just tested this today! Don't believe me? Check my channel. I was putting 700 to one, and it was cooking! Trust....

  • How do you get your speaker to hit like that without blowing them?

  • thats what type r's are made of

  • haha SICK,lol
