@johnlalala23 on an actual drumkit, it's much easier to pull off due to the fact that the toms on rock band are arranged in a way where it makes those types of fills awkward. That's not saying it's actually easy, and to do something like what The Rev did here, you'd have to have good linear fill skills.

And I'm picking up GH:WoR day 1, so if I'm a RB fanboy I'm a pretty bad one :P

I've had a few friends who play drums in bands tell me that RB is harder because they feel like they don't have the same kind of freedom as a real kit. One guy described it as "leading the band vs. following a chart." Guess it just depends, or maybe the two experiences just dnb't compare.

Actually, on real drums, since you don't have a chart to follow, you have to be incredibly careful that you don't go off beat, lest you want to make a fool out of yourself. If you lose the beat on RB, you can easily get back by following the chart, On real drums you have to start counting and trusting your band members if you lose the beat, which is a scary situation, especially when playing live, because EVERYBODY hears you mess up.
