  • Slug over rated? Your smoking glass cock. He's been rockin shit since 97 from when I first heard him. I put him up with aesop, mf doom and del

  • the beats are so crunchy on this track!

  • randy wallace dead at 19

  • I love when slug does songs with other artists Rhymsayers is great for grabbing the best talent

  • I love both of these guys but this is honestly terrible

  • @disxtort What the hell does "honestly terrible" mean? You do know thats youre opinion and not the worlds.

  • @oldrippy0024 .

It mean being real. that's all, honest. critical thinkers are of utmost importance for the future. So raise critical thinkers and let's make it real for real. thoughts conveyed through words can seem terrible to someone conditioned to sheeple and obey.

  • @oldrippy0024 In other words, I honestly think this is terrible, though I like both of these guys separately. Your*

  • Every little prick wanna' fuck Lady Luck buttnaked

    Freaking great punch !!!

  • @kevindavidkern....Atmosphere is far from garbage bro.

  • i like the way aesop hit this one.

  • atmosphere is garbage. aesop is the fucking truth though hes the charlie parker of hip hop

  • @kevindavidkern cool story bro

  • @kevindavidkern you my friend are a hater and maybe a little remedial, slug comes correct everytime and doesnt deserve ya weak ass comment..u know ZERO about hip-hop u fucking geeky motherfucker.thumbs up if u think this shittard needs to get slapped with his moms vibrator.

you make yourself look like a fool

  • @kevindavidkern and you're a joke. tell me why aesop continues to collaborate with slug.

  • @kevindavidkern

your a stupid shit. Slug kills it!

  • @kevindavidkern: perhaps you should revisit some of Slug's early work.... he's come a long way and I have some strong opinions on the later material but the early works are solid. Truth? You should give two fucks for "Scapegoat" watch?v=Z4zvYLxZuf8

  • @kevindavidkern Slug has been around for a longtime for a reason.

  • Can't get enough of Aes.. Good to hear new shit.

  • My soul in this one. Dark and tortured

  • @byf1864 word

  • R.I.P Michael Larsen the lyricist nemesis aesop and slug holdin' it down heavy on this track

  • Aesop Rock is quite simply as much the lyrical ne plus ultra as benevolent conversationalist after a show. Most MC's are in the category of vocal jazz, whereas he is a master of syllable placement and phoneme, more properly described as a vocal orchestra. Brilliant, and an absolute pleasure to meet the repartee quadrivium of his immense writing talents leave many off-balance, preponderate to most in contrast; I wish all his shows a plenum, pleonasm is underrated, this man is a true artist.

  • For management Slug is the baron, lyrically Aesop would be the most complex and at times tantamount to cryptic in prose. However, neither could hold a candle to the late Michael Larson in terms of blistering delivery, freestyle propensity, or battle accomplishments, RIP Eyedea. Funny how none of the Rhymesayers nor affiliates were in 8-Mile, which BTW was not a documentary for the delusional, disenchanted suburbanites enamored with what they have confused for the underground. Feminem spoofed it.

  • @jbotos1 at you mean mile is a spoof? literaly or it just sucked that bad?

  • @F1zhsTourturedSoul Sorry for the confusion. I mean that 8-mile is not a documentary, but rife with hyperbole. Marshall Malcontent is a manufactured artist or more aptly stated, a Dre. Baby. Much akin to 50, Snoop and company with Easy E as the archetype these 'performers' play a character with their identity. Currently fame is interchangeable, tantamount to chameleonic. Take Ice T, from Cop-killer to vice cop, LL- similar vicissitude, and let's not get into Ice cube. Fevered egos aplenty ;(

  • @jbotos1 lol true......but i still think easy e is the shit.....

  • @jbotos1 true i get what ur sayin.....easy e was dope though

  • @F1zhsTourturedSoul Trying to answer you in sequence. Easy was king of his day but I consider him a comedian who knew how to package his product for a niche audience. I know punk rock purists who know Easy-duz-it verbatim. He was universal since it wasn't meant to be a true story but more hypothetical, the Brotha Lynch of his day. And since rarely properly imitated.

  • @jbotos1 quadrivium?

  • @louisbrains the quickly eroding pursuits of the liberal arts are known in such circles as the quadrivium. A term as dead as the academia they once found purchase.

  • aesop killed it

  • sexy pair

  • I have finally understood aesop's style...he's a very sleep deprived man..or lyrical wizard of a poetic decent that simply describes what he's thinking..to us human beings...all the while, struggling to keep himself awake..or maybe just in this dimension..and slugs...self-explanatory in a simpler way haha

  • @lilmanweeman Must not sleep. Must warn others.

  • @krraa Trust blocks creep where the dust storm hovers

  • What happened to Slug's flow?!

  • My favorite Men.

  • You know it`s good when favorites exceed likes

  • i mean slug

  • aesop goes hard. puts atmosphere to shame on this biddditch

  • @skkill1 different styles..aesop's lyrics are way more abstract, slugs are upfront to the point. In an interview with slug he says something about hoping his music would turn people onto the underground so they "start off smoking the atmosphere and eventually will be shooting up aesop rock" (not the exact quote but something along the lines of that)

  • @crephotos and doesn't everybody? I started on atmo and living legends, then found heiro, then del, and etc...

  • @Israeli3030 I was lising to Aes before atmosphere actually

  • @crephotos that's cool. I found aes through the living legends, who I found through atmo.

  • dope...

  • whenever these two collab, I wonder if the mainstream rap world is like "why do we even try?"

  • yuppppp

  • Why is Slug always wearing that hat now?

  • filthy

  • Been waiting for another collaboration from these two, they never disappoint that's why they are the best!

  • Two of the greatest lyricists from Rhymesayers.

    Good shit.

  • @SadClownBadSpring

    aesop's not on rhymesayers...and isn't from rhymesayers...

  • @junkahmad888 Yes he is now, he signed to Rhymesayers after Def Jux went on hiatus, he released the Hail Mary Mallon record on it.

  • @DecimateStudios

false. hail mary mallon was released through rhymesayers, but that is not aesop rock's solo stuff. aesop rock is not signed to rhymesayers. who knows, rhymesayers might help release his album when it comes out, but you can check the rhymesayers website...he's not signed to rhymesayers.

  • @junkahmad888 Ah okay, I expect his solo stuff will be released on Rhymesayers though seeing as all of the Hail Mary Mallon guys were signed to Def Jux and with Def Jux being on hiatus Rhymesayers is their best option for a label seeing as it's all artists they know and are familiar with.

  • oh man, thank you so much for this

  • aesop rock is still better than ever

  • @COblockhead Go hate somewhere else

  • If this was on myspace back in say 07 it would have 100,000 views a day.
