We, Taiwanese, are totally different from Chinese. We have no historical or genetic
connection with them, except some Chinese came to our island in 1949.
We are not even Asian. We are actually Dutch descendent. We came to Taiwan from Europe 500
hundred years ago. Our language, Taiwanese, is actually a remote dialect of west Europe.
Taiwan was, is , will never be part of China.
