@Tokuu123 are you talking about my center front teeth? hehe it's not a gap. I had a cavity there. My filling is darker than my actually teeth. All I have to do is go in and change the filling to a lighter one.
I'm Happy that I'm not the only one.. I really need braces and I become 16 this summer. Where I live it's normal that children get really quick braces, mostly when they're 12. But here is the same, it's realllyy expensive and my parents can't afford it , maybe over a couple of years.It's a big shame for me.. Also I don't like the talk about it with other, because lots of people are asking me why I still got no braces. And yes, sometimes I lie about it.. What did you when others were asking that?

Yay, braces are cool! I'm glad you learned the importance of retainers... most patients stop wearing them because they are hard to remember. I always try to emphasize that to my patients because if they don't wear the retainers, they just wasted their parents' money and 2-3 yrs of their lives.

my brother went to an orthro and the doctor charged 8000. which is super expensive, yet i remember my friend had hers for about 3000, back when we were like 14 yrs old.. so i don't know if the prices doubled within these last 8 years..
@moofeyy I had that same problem! When I went in, I thought all i need was to adjust one of my tooth, because it was sticking out. Turns out there were a lot of different things wrong with my teeth lol. Dang 8000 that is a lot!
My braces experience was a bit frustrating at the end because my ortho wanted my braces off since I finished paying him so I feel that my teeth didn't get its full potential with my ortho. I think my teeth could've look better or even straighter :[ my teeth is straighter than before but I'm so not happy with it. I'm actually deciding to either go get braces again or find another ortho to do a better job on my teeth.
@pewpewpichu Maybe you just need to get them position again. Try the positioner, which is what i am using. It's much cheaper than braces. It doesn't close any gaps, but it does position your teeth and align them.
I plan to get braces around that age too because I feel bad asking my mom for something that expensive so I'll just pay for it myself or pay back my mom if she gets it for me, I don't think it's embarrassing at all to get it so late, but I get sorta mad when people ask me why I never had braces or I should've gotten braces before highschool, do they not realize not everyone can afford it like they do?!
