No, it's not you. You have it right lipzx-- the current crowned King cannot look or resemble Khmer, as he does not have an ounce of Khmer blood in him.

if he doesnt have any khmer blood in him then why is he king.. they shudnt allow him to become the ruler.... he probably cant do much for the country anyways.. since u wasnt there when all the other things happened...im disappointed...i cant let my khmer ppl be looked after someone who doesnt have any khmer blood man..im proud to be half khmer..

Most Khmer knows that he is the puppet King. He never fully acts to the full compacity of a REAL King. He came to the throne because Sihanouk abdicated the throne to his son. If you follow the mannerism of the current King of Cambodia and King of Thailand, there is a world of differences. I'm ashamed of our puppet King and I'm Khmer- believe me, I'm not admiring Siam because I have no admiration for Siam due to their repeated invasion and stealing territory from Khmer over the centuries.
