They need to let the real estate market deleverage and stop trying to prop it up. We cannot recover with real estate still 60% overvalued. Low interest rates do nothing if the real estate is overpriced. Let homes deleverage and people will start buying. This will stimulate the supporting trades and boost the economy. These inflated home prices are killing us. 8 million more foreclosures coming on the market this year.
