  • can anyone tell me whats the name of soundtrack plaing in this trailer ??

  • i guess this is musashi's theme. better than tadakatsu's.

  • @LightxKira5643

What? I'm not lying at all. I'm Japanese.

  • Eh, I'm related to miyamoto musashi.

  • @Takeo214 Don't like, your a white narutard.

  • anyone know where i can see this anime? = 0

  • What´s the song called? It´s so cool

  • @ZecaPinto1 Sorry but I also don't know ^^. It might have an OST but I'm not sure.

  • @UnamedKing Part of the animation that you included in the video looks just like the animation in Shigurui. Do you know if the creators, producers, and studio are the same ones that made this are the same ones that made Shigurui?

  • good bgm here!

  • is there a release date yet?

  • @fullcourtprezz It came out already O.o 2009

  • @UnamedKing Will it come out here in the U.S?

  • @M8DMAN I haven't seen any new about an official US release ^^' So none at the moment.

  • It totally different from Vagabond, Musashi looks way different, and Kojiro is different too. It has nothing to do with it really. In fact, I'm pretty sure this is a movie, not a show.

  • ITS NOT A FUCKING VAGABOND ANIME!

  • the day inoue's cult hit gets an anime, names like kenshin and blade of the immortal will cry for their mommies when musashi cuts them like they here butter.

  • yeahh!!!...but i think blade of the immortal is as good as vagabond, if not better...they'r totally different mangas....anyway i really hate kenshin!

  • i wish they coukld make an anime for vagabond

  • @JSuelto1

    An anime of Vagabond?

Impossible... i don't think they'll be able to get near to inoues style.

At least not if it's produced by a main-stream company.

...but yeah, a vagabond anime, that would be great!

  • @JSuelto1 indeed

  • @JSuelto1 just forget about anime how bout' go straight to cgi movie? that will be cool!!

  • I likr vagabond when is the anime coming?

  • VAGABOND IS AWESOMEEEEEEE

  • Man if this really isnt based on the vagabond manga thats a downer the storyline is amazing. the art is fantastic and it is super deep. and someone needs 2 make somekind of something based off of it b it live action, anime hell ill even accept a musical or some shit similar

  • fuckin ditto

  • dude you took the words right out of my mouth. There are also a TON of kabuki theater plays on Musashi Miyamoto as well. I would definitely pay money to see anything that has to do with him. I just wish they also payed attention to Yukimura as well. Personally, he is the hero of the sengoku period, even Ieyasu said so himself. Him being in Samurai Warriors and Sengoku Basara and Samurai Deeper Kyo isn't enough.

  • OMG...!! I'm sooo gonna watch this! but hopefully they will faithfully stick with Musashi's's real story.

  • is this fake or real?...is it based on Vagabond?...it would be great!

  • yeah it would be great if they made one based on Vagabond

  • I would prefer his real story over Vagabond...

  • yes, but there are already a lot of movies about his real story, and they're not such great....vagabond offers another more original interpretation, and it has great drawings and scenes, even if it's not totally realistic

  • It's not based on Vagabond. The entire movie is an interpretation of Miyamoto Musashi as a character. From the looks of it, it will be a sort of animated documentary on his life. There's lots of evidence to suggest this because you can see many events - duels in particular.

But movie this isn't about glorifying the duels and his victory, this is about recognizing the amazing person Musashi really was. Surely it is going to be great!

  • except also it was the duels that made him famous. He was never formely trained and stuff. What made it even better was that he at first was famous because of his duels then for this work.

  • The duels were simply an application of his knowledge. Musashi finds a lot of his skills difficult to explain in Go Rin no Sho because there isn't any set pattern to his fighting style. He mentions that one must know the rhythm of a fight in order to win. This is much the same as what Bruce Lee explain was the essence of Jeet Kun Do. Simple and un- predictable while using the opponents rhythm to your advantage. I like to call this state of ass-kicking, Mental Zero.

  • I know i've read 五輪書in Japanese and in English. The knowledge came from the overall duels that he had since he wrote the book almost right before he died.

  • Exactly. Take Bruce Lee; he isn't just a famous martial artist, he is a philosopher and teacher. The same definitely goes for Musashi Miyamoto; a true warrior who proved that the way of the sword can give life instead of taking it. A well known teacher and philosopher himself. I want to get his book of the five rings soooo bad.

  • @DarkDragonX1989 i have his book. He was a very cunning strategist and a very smart man.

  • @DarkDragonX1989

books a million, barnes and nobles or online

  • @DarkDragonX1989 download it on the web? It's pretty short though imo but so is sun tze bin fa so I am not complaining.

  • @DarkDragonX1989 interesting book...good read...but probably not so different from other similar texts...Art of war...anything Zen

  • @DarkDragonX1989 Your local public library may carry it if you live in a city. I read this a few years ago from mine.

  • @DarkDragonX1989 bruce lee sucks

  • Lol, I beg your pardon?

  • @DarkDragonX1989 There's a brilliant translation available by William Scott Wilson.

  • @DarkDragonX1989 you are right my good sir :D

  • @DarkDragonX1989

Just be lucky to get a a good translation of the Five rings. I read three version in Hungarian, one in German, and one English and all of them were different.

  • @DarkDragonX1989 Already have it :P... go get it at bookdepository!

  • It's completely real, and no I don't think it's based on Vagabond as such, but both at based on the tales of Musashi none the less. :)
